crying out for 'coup de grace'
An impeccable darkness, masked in a heavy, wet fog, swam around the pillars of the skeleton’s frame. It was far from easy to tell where exactly this stag was dragging her, even more unclear was exactly why he was taking her anywhere. She could be of no use to anyone, too frail, so close to death one might mistake her for dead if she laid down. Dead of starvation and giving herself up so that the grass may continue to grow and nurture the living. She would be forgotten and no one, not even Sinister, would give a damn about it. Her parents dead, childhood friends are dead, and no one living would know the difference. These thoughts bringing the aged colts true intentions to her mind, and what they consist of. Of course, in her current state she was of no benefit to even his little rat. She was inside freaking out over this matter, but her current surroundings left her eyes, auditory lobes, and nairs on high alert. Spooking at everything, even the noises she imagined in her mind. It was so dark, foggy and humid that this mare felt as if she had weights added unto her daggers and back. Her matted ivory and grey pelt now dampened with the mist’s spit; to any other equine this would be no challenge but as they continued to advance her frame began to feel the impact. Reluctant to be lost in this night time, she struggled her way through the land mounted ocean of mist; heavy breathing and quivering limbs it was obvious that even this short journey would take a toll on her for at least a day or so. But for now, she pushed on, crown head high and on full alert. Unlike the watering plains in which she had first arrived, this land looked more dangerous. There were areas of concealment but every inch of the land was covered in this thick fog; danger lurked everywhere. These creatures needed not the cover that the beasts did before.

The swamp was home for the stag even if it had only been for the first six months of his life. He hoped to reunite with the queen Lashiel and see exactly where it could go. The colt was not one to wear his heart on his sleeve, he believed most of the time that when that organ was given out he must have been late the last one given out sometime before he arrived. His lack of a heart caused him some issues early in life, it made things harder then they needed to be at times, but it also saved him. The darkness that grabbed hold of him was enough to keep him from being a captive, like his mother had been. Syndicate was given the run of the smoggy swamp that he called home, while his mother was held against her will.
He did not hold this against Lady Lashiel, He loved his mother and it made her still his and she would always just be his. The thought raised question in the stag and he tried to catch a sent of his mother as he lead the minx through the swamp. His mothers scent was faded as if she had been gone for a while, he wondered where and he would find out soon. He promised that much he wanted to know his mother fared over the time that he left home, she was his mother and would only be his mother. Tawny brown orbs turned to look at the painted minx as she seemed to be slowing down due to the thick swampy mud.
He snorted and knew that he had taken her too far for now. He would allow her to rest before he continued on with his journey. He needed to get her closer to the forest and away from the deep swamp. The venture was not much farther and he stopped at the tree line and turned to her, "Well since your here and going to stay for a bit, I am Syndicate." He offered against his insides screamed no. A smoggy blanket seemed to cover the lands, but it felt like home and he was content. Tribe hassled as he caught up to the duo, he moved to syndicates daggers and curled up, yawning loudly before snoozing away.
Syndicates eyes watched him for a moment knowing that his little companion was happy to be home as well. Now the bronc had to find a way to make the minx before him content enough to stay at least for a while, his protection would be enough for at least a month or so until her body regained some real strength. Syndicates mind wandered through a few different ways unsure which one to use just yet.

. . .A P H R O D I T E. . .
crying out for 'coup de grace'
The land in which Aphrodite resided before the great disaster was that of greenery, floral plants of paradise, plenty of shelter at the base of the huge mountain which boarded it. Caves dotted the baseline, pools of cool water inside of them, stalagmites protruded from the floor, stalactites from above, dotting the surfaces at the back of the dark caves, warning the living not to go past. Bats lived here, along with numerous breeds of large spiders, small lizards and other unknown creatures. Aphrodite would often find herself exploring the caves, coming across jewels and smooth rocks that she gifted to her father when he returned from various meetings. The peaks of the mountains jutted through the thick clouds, they were covered in snow through even the warmest of seasons; Aphrodite often dreamt of trudging her way up the side of the massive formation just to frolic in the untouched flawless snow. Dangerous journeys were often on the mind of the young filly, her life was full of adventure but nothing that she would get even a scrape here and there. Every creature that she met was kind, did not mind the intrusion of a filly on a journey to nowhere, no one minded getting acquainted with such a kind, helpful young royal soul. She often stuck around her herd or one of the allied as she got older, not finding interest in being alone on the boundaries that seemed emptier to her. But on a hot evening, the yearling found herself drawn to a shadow figure in that direction; her mother wanted to distract her but also didn’t want to raise suspicion that it could be dangers (knowing her daughter’s adventurous spirit) so she prayed and hopped it was a small creature perhaps a deer of some sort and kept watch. As she approached she had no sense of urgency or of danger, just that of exploration and carelessness. Gaining on the shadow, the figure began to reveal its true colors of a pure white colt, about of her yearling age – and this was of utmost excitement. With a spring in her step, the filly flicked her whips and rose her head high wearing a huge grin that her orbs were appeared to be closed. A startled jump came from the colt, he seemed to be in deep thought, his breathing was really quick, actions skittish and he looked like he was on the lookout. The filly giggled for she knew no fear and no reason to act in such a manner – perhaps he just needed a playmate! That had to be it! And with that one thought, the filly uttered her first words to the scarred, lost Sinister, Hey! My name is Aphrodite, but you can just call me Aph if you’d like! What’s your name? Why are you out here all alone? Don’t you have a family?
As she was trudging through the muck that was clinging to and staining her pelt a dirty mucky brown, Aphrodite wasn’t sure if this was exactly where the brute was meaning to go, how could anyone live in… mud? His crème frame in front of her seemed to relax a bit, his strides slowed; though she wasn’t sure if it was because he was relaxed or if it was because he could see the toll it was taking on her. Ripples along her sides reflected her canvas rolling over prominent rib bones; was there any greenery here? How did this stag say how he was if he lived here? An exhausted bellow came out of the mare as they came to a stop, the smog anticipating a next step swooshed away from her pillars. Her mug held low and to the side, the mare’s breath was shallow and deep; one may here a slight wheeze if they listened hard enough. She was so exhausted and focused on not passing out, she failed notice that they actually were on the edge of the forest and a solid land was just a step or two away. Now surrounding them were trees and shrubs of different sort, a tuff of grass here and their sticking out of the now semi solid muck. Her orbs closed and head low, her energy was drained; she caught his words and was more grateful that she had ever been in her life. The thoughts of why he was helping her, and what he wanted, they left her mind and all she could do was listen. Well since your here and going to stay for a bit, I am Syndicate. Syndicate she repeated his name in her mind. A low nicker emitted from her mug as it rose to look at the stag standing a yard or so away from her, he wasn't old at all. He reminded her of her younger self, for now he did anyways. Syndicate, my name is… the scene with Sinister flashed in her mind and the words did as well. Hey! My name is Aphrodite, but you can just call me Aph if you’d like! What’s your name? Why are you out here all alone? Don’t you have a family? Oh how the tables have turned, the mares mug now closed, opened yet again. Syndicate, I am Aphrodite. And in her mind she replied to the questions she asked the foal, years ago, I have no family, no where to go… I was dumped by a blood thirsty bastard who betrayed me, killed my family, used me. Her thoughts drifted as her energy deplored even more, a close cluster of shrubs, trees and other various greenery caught her eye as she walked past the stag and onto the solid ground. Slowly getting herself to the ground the mare let a sigh of relief out, sores on her body were outweighed by the feeling her legs were radiating everywhere. Huffing she slowed her breathing and once again looked at the young being who had just shown mercy to her pathetic life. Thank you. Her words were emitted and a small, sad smile perched itself across her mug. And after that everything went black.

There was an eerie silence that surrounded the land and in that moment Syndicate knew there was no longer the large group that once followed lady Lashiel was long gone. The thought sparked a bit of curiosity in the young cremello stag and he wondered what had happened during the war to make that happen. Serpent's Sanctuary was a large thriving herd back when he was a foal. He snorted then and knew that she might need him more then he figured she would, not that she really needed him but it was a good thought at least. A small grin lit up his face at the thought of him being needed it felt good to feel that way. The odd looking stag also knew that he needed to find his mother and see if he had any siblings and with even the thought his grin faded from his kissers. His mind was a complicated one and with it he did not know how to truly deal with things, he had his own way and he did not care to change it. The little odd quirks made him Syndicate and he did not want to be any different for being odd was not like anyone else.
A nicker broke his concentration as she rose her muzzle her aqua colored visionaries looked at him. She started to speak, but syn could tell that the skeleton looking minx was battling some type of inner demon. He found himself wanting to know, but then again at the same time he wanted to be someone's inner demon and then again it made him debate on how to cause that. Syn did not necessarily want to be THIS mares inner demon but he would be someone's inner demon one day. She spoke once again this time able to provide her name, Aphrodite huh? He questioned knowing according to the stories he was told as a young colt there once was an aphrodite that lived with lashiels grandfather, but this mare could not be her she was far too young and the other one had died long ago. This brought a question to his mind for a name like Aphrodite why was this one in this condition? There was a story there it just needed the right amount of prodding to know the truth.
The painted minx moved past him and with that he knew that she would look for somewhere to sleep now that she had somewhere. She thanked him for helping her and with it he nodded knowing that one day she might not feel so thankful. He watched her for a moment as he knew she slept by the subtle signs of her breathing, it was how he managed to escape his mother at such a young age. A need to know his father was what fueled him to leave with the dunalino tobiano who look more crimson on his lower half then anything. He shook his mind as he looked down at Tribe who slept peacefully. The stallion backed up a bit and decided to lower his frame to the sod taking a light nap. He dreamed of the past and the time with his father as well as his aunt and uncle.
He awoke several hours later, and quickly gathered himself enough to rise quickly. Syn noticed then that Tribe was awake and laying next to him watching the minx waiting for her movement. The morning air was thick and gave the illusion that you would chock on it if you were not careful. Syndicate was not sure what would happen now that she regained some strength.

. . .A P H R O D I T E. . .
crying out for 'coup de grace'
In a bright green field a young filly leaped and bounded off the earth’s surface, two sets of eyes always fallowing their young daughter; the princess and heir to the throne. Care free whinnies emitted, orbs closed to the world as she played pretend with the other young. In the distance her parents watched, never leaving a second without her under watch. This never bothered the young princess, nothing bad ever happened in her little world she was sheltered and very well cared for. Every war was held out of her vision, and there were plenty to count. Her father would disappear but this also was normal, and nothing bad ever happened, he always returned and always was in a good mood. She had no reason for these frequent departures; nor for the trips that her mother took her on when he would leave without notice. She had no idea that wars took place on her homeland and that it was because of her. Aphrodite was going to be the queen to bring peace between a neighboring herd and her own, she was to be joined with their young colt and the forces joined together would, in theory, block out every outside competing herd. However, on that fateful day when Aphrodite was still very young and naïve, she shattered the decade’s long plan to join the lands and bring eternal peace. Even now, Aphrodite has no idea what the real plans were for her future were to be, and she never would, because everyone that was aware and wanted anything to do with her, were dead.
As with every night she laid down for rest and shut herself off from the outside world, Aphrodite was subjected to visionaries of her beloved friend turned rouge. It was so real, she could feel the heat on her hide, the breezes through her mane, and the warm touch of Sinister’s pelt on hers. They played, in the open fields, laid within the shadow of the flowered apple trees in the peak of spring, sharing the fruit together careless and worry free. They pounced through the water, chased the fish and grew up together all within the one dream. Everything she felt for the bastard was rekindled, every second she felt as if he was her other half, even just as her best friend she longed once again for him to be who he was before. She loved him without question, without fear, without having a reason to trust him at all; she was devoted to him with no promises. Her body lay in the mucked up foliage, the shelter she found at the height of the day had softened over night and was now beginning to once again solidify itself as the rays from the sun broke through, ever so defined and dried up the mud. White strands became even more matted, the bleeding along her hide stopped including the bat’s holes from where it landed to have a midnight snack. Still sleeping, you could see where her legs had been restless, the displaced mud radiated and you could tell she was a restless sleeper. Anyone who had been awake and able to hear would have been witness to her calling out for her former friend and companion for help and out of spite and hate and fear.
But now after several long hours of rest, the skeleton’s orbs opened just enough to allow a slight slit of the scenery enter. Scattered trees stood in front of her and denser behind her, such defined bright rays of the sun’s heat and light reached through the dense fog and the limbs of the trees. She only kept her orbs open like this for a few seconds at a time, to close them and reopen them, she did this for a while not making any effort to move her cranium or even her orbs to get a different view. After about ten minutes they began to open wider, a lifeless and defeated expression blanketed her entire being. In her peripheral view an oddly colored being stood, watching her with a small companion by his side. For the longest time she just lay there, breathing shallow but not because of her strength being deplorable now, but because she was getting over everything that had happened, all over again. With a heavy huff, the mare shifted her weight, now getting her limbs under her, and forced herself up all in one powerful forceful motion, breaking out of the suction that had surrounded her. Holding her crown up high, her tail flicked, leaves that had fallen upon her were flung off as she took the first step of the day. Shaking her entire body off, the mare was now covered in muck and greenery of different sorts. She was very dirty and very matted, and very much wished to wash this away and off of her. The way the mare held herself now exuded pride within herself, a since of power was behind her; even know her frame spoke a different story and she was feeling pained beyond her years. Ribs were visible, backbone as well, and her muscle mass was nonexistent. Looking at her now you would never have gotten the image of the lost and pitiful mare she had been for so long. No longer did she have shackles around her, keeping her down, she was no longer a slave performing such undesirable duties to the most hellish of douche bags imaginable. No, she was Aphrodite, she was a princess;… she was a murderer…
Bringing her attention to Syndicate, the mare smiled, her crown now looking upon him and her breathing steady. The rays warmed her pelt and she hid every hint of uncertainty and sadness deep within her; a miraculous change literally overnight. Cracking her velveteen kissers, silky tones floated out behind her ivory pinchers. Good Morning, Syndicate. She spoke nothing more and nothing less, she kept her breathing even and her orbs alert as well as twin towers twisting and rotating upon her crown, aqua orbs scanning the oddly covered stallion as well as his small, curious, companion. She felt renewed, she felt ready to go however, she was not yet in any sort of health to be going about her own. She was extremely malnourished, though energized and felt better than she had in years. Her body shown that of a skeleton, projecting bone instead of rolling curves of muscle. She would need to build herself up before she could be on her own way. So for now, she stayed here with the young colt that had perhaps set her life on track again.

The night had been a fairly quiet one for my first night home since my youth. I would be three in a couple of months and I would no longer have anyone put me into the same category as youth. My mind had never been youthful, and for that i was grown at least in my mind. The workings of the world were not something I was naive too. I know that the mare will think that she will get out of this without some type of deal... and for now i will let her think that i want nothing in return for my help. When something seems too good to be true it normally is, and in this case it was. My family taught me that you never help someone without wanting something in return. Father was the one to teach me this lesson and in a weird way i felt like he had trapped mother into having me, that or he was an extremely smooth talker, which was NOT a side that i saw from father. Yet, father had never showed interest in another mare during the time that I lived with him and my aunt and uncle. He never showed interest in ANYONE other then mother according to Aunt Maim. My cranium shook as i placed my mind back to the task at hand. what did i want from the skeleton of a .. princess it so seemed.
Maybe the minx would grow to like me and want to stay forever? I highly doubt it, my personality is not the most welcoming, it never has been. My tongue often seems to get me into a situation that i could have learned to talk my way out of if i had only listened a little bit harder to maim. My mind tried to find something useful from my lessons from the trio, but for now i realized that i was on my own so it seemed. A snort left my nostrils as Tribe yelped grabbing my attention long enough for my head to turn in his direction. The minx had raised and was headed towards the two of us. She spoke greeting me, tribe's orbs followed her a little hurt that he did not receive a mention, but it was something the little fox had grown accustom too. "You can go hunt if you want Tribe." The fox nodded at his friend before raising up and venturing off in search of some food. "Good Morning Aphrodite, Call me Syn." i added as my tawny orbs watched her emaciated frame for just a moment anyways.
My eyes left her then turning my attention to the swamp, as a fog crept into the land. Ahh its good to be home is all that i could find myself thinking. Realizing that i was home just reminded me that i needed to find lashiel, and come to think about it. I found it extremely odd that even given the lack of equines within the realm did not come to check out who arrived. Sky blue with orange banner flickered against my side as my mind hoped that the queen was alright. My attention soon made its way back to the painted minx trying to figure out what she would want from me. Although i knew what she wanted I watched her for just a moment anyways. "I figure you would like to find somewhere to eat?" I knew the answer even as the question left my pink lips. My crimson daggers moved forth past her away from the lake. My movements were steady but slow enough that even she could keep up. The journey was not a long one, the grass in Serpent's Sanctuary stayed green year round thanks to all the water that the ground consumed. My spotted pillars came to a halt before i lowered my frame against a tree allowing her to do as she pleased, it was not like she was going anywhere. A loud squeak from a massive rat filled the air and a smile made its way to my lips, "it seems Tribe found his breakfast."
The little fox came trotting around the curve, with a large rat in his jaws. He smiled and moved to the other side of the tree, to devour his meal. Syn shook his head as he watched the minx waiting to see her reaction.

crying out for 'coup de grace'
Though the mare was well rested, and had more energy than she had seen in the past years for months at a time, she was still dangerously malnourished. She played every move as if she was as strong as she had been in younger years, made her spirit suck its sob story up and move in and kept her mind from wondering to the past and dampening what little faith she had in herself. She took special care to stay on her toes, and treat this young stallion as the good host that he was, took care not to show signs of fear, made sure she showed him that she was a strong mare and could defend herself if need be; well she did what she could in that aspect. This land he lived in wasn’t one that she would find herself in for a prolonged period of time, however, for the time being and the purpose it served this home was quite lovely and adequate and she was grateful to be welcomed into it.
Even with the sun in the sky the terrain in which they were was dark and gloomy, however it did serve as great protection from any heatwaves that may pass through the region, as well as any type of storm. From the thick muck they walked in that previous night, printed with all sorts of markings, a steamy thick fog was creeping up, crawling as if it was being risen from the dead. It started engulfing the mare’s daggers and began working its way up in waves, it didn’t make it long before the stallion spoke responding to his companion’s yelp for attention on her way over to the duo; the mare had forgotten about the stallions little friend, but figured that the creature didn’t know the difference. You can go hunt if you want Tribe. It didn’t take but a split second and the little dog like creature left, quite happily, to go and fetch himself something to quench the hunger urge that was obviously hanging over him. After the thing left, the brute turned his attention to the mare, Good Morning Aphrodite, Call me Syn. strange colored brute made direct eye contact, his painted pools to her aqua colored ones. The mare, her crown held high boa straight and her body geared up the best she could, nodded closing her orbs and tilting her crown in a polite manner. Brining his attention to the swamp, he seemed to take notice of the raising fog himself, it didn’t concern the mare though it was different than what she was used to, the stallion though seemed to be relaxed by it? Perhaps he had longed to be back here after a stay away from home; it was good to have somewhere to belong. This was a feeling that Aphrodite reminisced a lot… or had before she decided to leave the past behind her.
Beginning to lose herself in thought, the mare stared at the stag but was just gazing into space, in a sort of daze until shortly after he spoke, I figure you would like to find somewhere to eat? The mare had not thought about the possibility of greenery in this terrain, as the ground to be so displaced all the time she wouldn’t think it would be able to grow. Thought that was one of the things that swayed her to fallow and trust the young stag, through his frame her projected the great possibility and accessibility to greenery and healthy waters. At a slight nod of her muzzle the mare replied in a pleasant and thankful silky tone, yes, some fresh grazing does sound like a grand idea. A certain tinge in her voice reminded her of her mother, her orbs shifted as the brute began on another journey and she fallowed after; not shortly they arrived to the promised greenery. To her surprise there was plentiful to take in and as they came to a halt, she quickly spoke Thank you Syn. She was hugely grateful for the kindness the brute had shown her, the thought of what he would want in return was nowhere in her mind it didn’t concern her at this moment and she needed to focus on herself and returning to her former self. This short time grazing, the mare had been hatefully pulling the blades from their home and consuming them, then, in the distance, the loud squeal of a creature being cut short of life made her head jult up. Twin tower’s perked in the direction in which it came and her heart raced, orbs darting all over the horizon and her daggers stood at the ready to either fight or run. Then from behind her with a smile in his tones the nonchalant stallion spoke, it seems Tribe found his breakfast. With a sigh, she dropped her crown, and positioned herself in a different part of the area, it was slightly closer to the brute and to a water source which she would soon be utilizing. For now she just spoke a few words that were needed, but she would be listing out questions for him to answer once she had her fill.

A deep sensation of relaxation could be found ever so cozy as one looked upon my uniquely colored frame. My frame rested against the tree no amount of hunger able to break the spell that seemed to have taken hold. Tawny brown visionaries followed Tribe as he played with his food. The mare before me, Aphrodite was clearly not amused by Tribe's presence, the fox was far from any type of threat to equines. The sandy colored fox was far too small to harm anyone. The little devil was not one to under estimate though, he was a smart one. The beast had to in order to survive through my childhood. Tribe had a few close calls in my youth, back then his tail was long enough to tickle my stomach and with the tickle it sent me into a frenzy, stomping the ground trying to stop the thing that caused laughter that i could not control. The crafty speed the little one possessed was what saved him time and time again.
Orbs turned to the minx then watching her movements as she greedily consumed the grass that serpent's sanctuary had to offer. Time ticked along as she continued to consume her fill. My hunger seemed to be far different from most, once i concentrated on something it was hard to break damn near impossible. The stag shifted his weight for a moment as the time ticked on for the trio. Tribe finished his breakfast, and my eyes shifted to the mare for a moment. Spotted pillars shifted pulling my healthy frame from the sod, i shook my skull then once. My frame drifted closer to her for a moment, my eyes studying her weakly frame. The thought crossed my mind as to i may not get what i want from her.
A snort fell from my nostrils as my sky blue banner flickered against my hide. My pillars shifted and carried my frame from her Tribe's head turned to the side as if to question my actions. My body moved from her then in a strange wonder if she truly wanted to be here or if it was just for safety reasons. My head shook then knowing it truly did not matter my mind needed to focus on finding lady lashiel. She was the one that truly mattered as far as finding and the lack of being undiscovered as long as we had been here was a bit worrisome.
My body stopped knowing i couldn't leave her, i had made a duty and it was to Aphrodite. The fog lowered and keeping its presence still known though. An owl whooed in the background, its sleeping pattern completely out of whack. Curiosity was the one thing that opened my mind from the strange place that it had been sent into. A deep breath fell from my lips then as my mind moved through everything unsure how to deal with it but knowing i was no where near the end of my quest.

crying out for 'coup de grace'
Her pelt being warmed by the sun, the mare was energized as the rays swarmed around her. Her tassels dancing on the breezes that swam through the swamplands. It was quiet, except for the little fox companion, and peaceful; a perfect place for the mare to be regaining her energy. But while this place was relaxing it also put her on edge, for one she did not know the intentions of this stallion, and two, she truly didn’t know if she was really welcomed here. Surely this young stallion didn’t lead all the equines whom left there scent through this territory, no, there had to be a ruler and she had yet to meet them. There for she was fair game to whomever wanted to do whatever twisted things they wanted, and the mare was in no shape to defend herself, and this stallion had to reason to do so either. Never the less, these thoughts faded into the back of her head and she focused on greedily pulling up blades with her ivory pinchers. Eventually the mare was full and picked her crown up, turning to look at the two who were keeping her company. Surroundings were thick with fog, making it difficult to see, this put her on alert because of the unfamiliar surroundings; after all she didn’t know what could be lurking within the swamp land. Knowing this she dared not to venture off on her own to find out why they had not been greeted yet by the lead. The stallion leaned up against a giant towering tree, clearly he found no threat within the eerie territory he was slumped and relaxed and even let his pet wonder off on its own. Well to each their own.
Her frame was not one of good health but even compared to a few days ago the mare looked more like her old self than she had in years. Her bones still shown through her dirty pelt, creating waves as she made movements with her canvas rubbing up against the ivory matrix. Her boa was thin and lacked muscle mass as did the rest of her but this would get better as time passed, she would fill in with her fat reserves and muscle and her sleek slender frame would return to the heirs body. She would eventually resemble her royal self again, however she would not be so blinded to the ways of the world she knew she needed to be more careful, less trusting and more aware of the intentions of the world. She raised her head to the stallion standing behind her, he was moving now, deep in thought his orbs traveled away from watching her to the distance, the small creature fallowing him from behind. Confused, as he passed the mare she began to be confused and a feeling of lost overwhelmed her, she didn’t know where she was she didn’t know how to get anywhere, she could not defend herself if so needed. Suddenly he stopped. As if he heard her thoughts and gave mercy to the poor dampened heavy soul. The next thoughts through her head were that of his true intentions, what did he have planned for the mare? Facing him, Aphrodite spoke, her tones masking the fear she felt for this land not being from it. If you need to leave Syn, you can. I can take care of myself if needed. I don’t want to be a burden. She paused, turning towards the ground and thinking of how to word her next stanza You have been a great help to me, saved my life. With that she let her silky lyrics hang in the air, she dare not say she was indebted to him, for she knew she was and was positive he knew what he wanted already. When he would make that known exactly what he wanted from her in return was up to him.

The owl did not let up its call as if it was calling its family home. Cremello audits flickered back and forth as she spoke telling me that I could go on without her. The mare would not get away that easily, I would get what I wanted from the mare. She would not be left alone until she knew that she could be trusted. Aphrodite in a way thanked me for saving her. Would death be a worse fate then living with me, Syn? Who says that death would not be welcomed once she truly got to know the greedy beast that burned inside of my frame. Striped nape turned towards the minx, Tawny brown visionaries watched her for a moment. "I'm not going to leave you, Aphrodite." My words true even though deep inside it was for a reason far different from what she expected.
My mind chose to ignore her part about my helping her at all. Saving a life was far from what i did, while she was saved from death then. She was on the other hand doomed to another fate wither she knew it or not. I would try charm her before anything else. While to be honest i did not care if I left her bitter. There was another side of me that wished to make her happy and give her a better life then what she had. My body turned then moving towards her leaving a little space in between our bodies. "I've brought you this far i'm not going to abandon you here in serpent's sanctuary." I said pausing for just a moment. "I am here in search of Lady Lashiel, She held my mother captive here during my youth. I hold no ill will for the mare, in fact her company is rather... welcoming." A wicked smile made its way to my ivory lips then.
Spotted pillars shifted once more as my orbs moved away from her. Sky blue banner flickered against my hind pillars as my mind moved back to the lovely lady Lashiel. She needed to be found, something told me that she needed someone, me. A moment passed and my frame backed away a little more from her. A snort fell from my nostrils as my orbs ventured down to Tribe. He nodded and ventured off from the duo. "Now Aphrodite what do you wish to do?" I questioned the minx, it was an odd question but it would move us from this stopping point.

. . .A P H R O D I T E. . .
crying out for 'coup de grace'
Life used to be so simple and easy, we used to just try and survive ranks were not heard of, love was not a part of reproduction just survival, the world seemed smaller too, now there are so many corners it’s a hexagon opposed to a square or circle. We did not used to have thoughts of betrayal, plot against one another or murder for fun; instead we communicated and did what we needed to in order to survive. Today we are filled with so many unneeded unspoken rules, everyone must have their own place and if you are not going to benefit anyone you have to be gotten rid of. Today new rules mean that senseless killing is widely accepted and adapted as a way to solve your issues. Today the smaller you are the more useless you are and no one wants to take a chance on you, survival of the fittest, no matter how fast, clever or accepting you are of the world the world will eat you up and swallow you whole and shit you out like the piece of crap they believe you are. One way around the fucked up version of life we now live in is to have one leg up above anyone who might be “bigger or badder” than you this is where allies come into play and Aphrodite knew this very well.
Her orbs looked upon the crème stallion he looked far off into deep thought, she could easily tell that he would rather be somewhere else finishing up unfinished business of course we all had these types of things the question really was what was his? His frame began to move closer and closer to the edge of the swamp, about to leave her alone in a foreign land not even knowing if she was welcomed. However threatening that may seem, for there are many dangers that could present themselves and could easily overpower the skeleton frame that she was presented by it was more so welcoming than holding him back and giving him ideas of what could be done to the mare. She held her head high and her frame as if she was well toned again, she was tired and worn down even just from their short journey this morning and eating just before, but her pride in herself was restored and she felt like what she imagined would be her former self. Her outward appearance was that of muck and blood stained scared canvas, nothing of royalty like she was, her bones protruded from her like the matrix of a building without walls, she was canvas over bones, a blanket of grass over a maze of roots. Cool breezes dances through her banner, her tassels matted with sludge from her previous night’s rest, a shiver sent down her spine was a feeling all too common and made the mare realize how badly she needed to work on herself.
I'm not going to leave you, Aphrodite. His frame had stopped and now was returning in her direction, his words held a hint of silk as the met her twin-peeks. However calming these words should be, they were not, they held deceit in them and the mare felt it, however, nothing had changed and he had saved her life so she did not hold to the feelings and continued to treat him as well as he had her up to this point. Now only a few feet between them his scent filled the mare’s lungs and she put herself on high alert, for she did not know his true intentions. I've brought you this far i'm not going to abandon you here in serpent's sanctuary This time he gave her a hint of where exactly she was, Serpent’s sanctuary, very appropriately named. I am here in search of Lady Lashiel, She held my mother captive here during my youth. I hold no ill will for the mare, in fact her company is rather... welcoming. She turned her crown to the side a hint of confusion played on my façade, It was trivial for one to be interested in one who had held their own mother captive a twisted smirk was shown on his mug clearly he had his reasons not everyone was as well off as she was and she understood this. Now Aphrodite what do you wish to do? Pondering this question for a bit, and then thinking to herself of how little she knew of this land, and how much she needed to get into shape and gain her muscle mass back, she finally decided what she wanted to do. She looked at the stallion, stepping into the space that remained between them, leaving very very little space. Her velveteen kissers parted, her warm silk tones escaped each word emitted carefully and purposefully Let’s meet this Lady Lashiel of yours. It seems I have not been formally accepted into this land and under your command. This statement coming from her was a very bold statement, she was admitting herself to him as she knew he had an idea of what he wanted in return for her life and she would repay him. She stood, awaited his next response and questioned repeatedly what he could have in store for her assuring herself it was better than the other option of being alone.
