I. Know the ways of the shadows, am the beating of the night know thy as Vlapalo. Hooves where a low drum of music against the ground as the stallion quietly made his way from the Peak. For a while he was content to wait and watch from his perch on high as The Children went about their daily lives. But it as time continued to tick by the stallions boredom continued to grow, with no ways to rid himself of it. Time did not heal all wounds.
Crown shook momentarily, thick tendrils that in circled his neck rustled as he did so, while neck slowly arched. Nostrils would flare as he sauntered listlessly pass the boundaries that made up the territory of some herd of his children. But what did it matter if he crossed their borders without invitation? After all, wouldn't one welcome their father with open arms and worshipful words? The stallion wouldn't ever be able to comprehend why exactly he wasn't welcome in a location.
Steps continued to carry the stallion forward, the heavy tree that rested upon his back swayed to and fro as the draft boy moved. Ears slowly twisted upon his skull, catching the fleeting and fearful whispers of the birds as they flitted away. Silence seemed to trail behind him like the aftermath of a plague, but Vlapalo paid no heed. Instead he allowed violet eyes to slowly slide across the earth as he searched for a mortal to speak to.
But so far, no children of flesh came to stand before the patterned crimson presences of Chaos Entity. This was fine, for the moment. Waiting for too long would only...gradually, add to the irritation that was slithering around in the breast of the beast. So he allowed his right hoof to slide outwards, head dropping as he rubbed the slide of his muzzle against the inside of his leg to rid himself or a particular itch that was plaguing him while he waited.
OC: Weee! So much fun to post him, though a bit lazy right now. This is opened to everyone!

C A D O M I R | 愛 S I D D E H 愛 | A scout broke into the resting place of the king. Quickly alerting him to a very strange presence that had passed the threshold of Vahill's borders. With a great sense of unease Cadomir had departed from the woven tree shelter many of his residents took refuge in. The horned brute quickly made his way toward the intruder. The scout quickly leading the way for the grullo bronc. Each step was precise, his muscles were tense stirring more pain in his injured shoulder. His chocolate fibers swayed in the wind as he approached. He could smell the creature, though he could see a tree before he spotted the rest of it.
It perplexed the young king as he came upon this being. He felt nothing but impending doom that this creature would not bring peace in the lands of Altus. He did not care to have this thing in his home, and with the audacity to cross his borders. Sera was much farther behind, and honestly did not have the guts that Cado did with his anger. It still boiled beneath his very flesh, and was dangerously close to being unleashed on the next to cross his kingdom. "You there, state your name and business within my home. I highly recommend next time you show your face you announce your presence before so hastily crossing our borders. Altus will not tolerate disrespectful guests." Cado's voice rumbled across the space between him and the creature. Despite his inherent fear, and abandonment of his scout, he did not show his fear to this being.
His voice commanded authority, although he was not disrespectful in his request. He knew many did not understand what was respectful, and what was not. Or they just didn't care. "You tread now in Vahill, royal land of Altus. Are you lost?" The edge was still there, though he was trying to keep the annoyance in his tone at bay. Perhaps this creature had a genuine reason for treading across the borders. Though the sinking feeling of impending doom did not subside the closer he got. Cadomir stopping only a few feet from the treed creature now. Hearing the whispers of his guards from much farther away. Even Seraphiel dared not approach.

I. Know the ways of the shadows, am the beating of the night know thy as Vlapalo. His head continued the smooth back and forth motion as he tried to finish off the itch that was plaguing his leg. The twin rising spirals upon his head circled and twisted upward as crown slowly turned towards the sound of approaching hoof falls. Shoulders rotated slowly under the weight that was his mane as his own hooves slowly moved in the direction of the approaching sound. Ears leisurely swiveled towards the mortal that approached him, and yet he still said nothing for the moment.
"Why should I announce Myself mortal, when I come to visit My children?" He put forth the question with only a curious tilt of his head as he looked towards the even younger mortal still. But this question did not vibrate from his breast and out through his mouth. No, this question was the soft whispering, a lull, a brush of the mind as he inserted the thought with ease with the calm under passes of silence. The underlying currently of amusement that stirred in the breast of Vlapalo though did not do anything to fade. Instead the tree like being always felt this inkling of humor whenever the precious children rebuked his presences.
But instantly he would sigh, remembering that he was indeed within the boundaries that a group of his delightful children called home. The stag would calmly shake his head from the left and then to the right before turning the entirety of his body towards the young king. 'You there,' he mused at the crassness of the greetings towards a creature that was clearly beyond understanding.
A faint smile would linger upon tinged lips as he allowed his head to return to its rightful position. "Why would I be lost child?" He questioned once again as the next question from the pleasantly decorated stallion reached his ears. But the dread lord would choose this moment to stretch his neck, allowing his head to snake forward to extend his muzzle towards the other stallion in greeting.
"I am Vlapalo," the detached mental whisper would continue to slither onwards. "I make my home in Erebus Peak." The slithering whisper came to a ice illicit stop at that particular moment. Only accented by the drop of his right hoof against the terrain. The tree upon his back would grow silence, it's rattling branching stopping as bark whipcord slashed through the oxygen matter with a hint of haste.
"I have come seeking nothing, only exploring the lands of the children..." the slow hollow whisper would once again make it's presences know, before eerily ending on. "For now..."

C A D O M I R | 愛 S I D D E H 愛 | As Cado waited for the response, he began to regret it as soon as this thing communicated with him. Immediately making him uncomfortable, his face growing from somber to astonished. No such creature had ever communicated with him in such a way before. Not even in the tales of lore that thrived in the lands. His cranium twisted in multiple ways, and the sinister feeling he imposed upon the young king was further enhanced. A lump formed in his throat, as the creature took another step towards him. Extending his muzzle in a greeting. Cadomir stared at the end of the creature's muzzle, gaze wide with astonishment
Cadomir was frozen, the whispers weighing heavily in the background. Everything screamed to him that this creature was dangerous. He'd made a mistake in his approach, and the smugness of the creature further made him feel vulnerable. None of the guards dared approach, making the young king appear either very foolish, or very brave. He felt invaded, the voice in his mind was not his own. Cadomir was unsure of how to respond to a formal greeting, any normal equine he would have returned. This he was unsure of. The king stared a few moments longer at this creature's muzzle, extending his own neck to return the formal greeting. He'd taken his own disrespect far enough, and he hoped this creature would turn away from Altus soon. "What are you?"
The grullo shaded bronc questioned, his voice was as stunned as his reaction. The tree seemed to pulse upon this creatures back, and he quickly recoiled his own cranium away from the creature. Stepping away from him. Finally Seraphiel approached, hovering just behind Cadomir. The same perplexed look upon his cousin's face. Seraphiel could feel the ominous nature too. "The guards are all cautioning the approach of this creature. It may be wise to follow suit." The draft bronc whispered quietly into his King's ear. Stealing wary glances at this strange being. Cadomir wished he had halted his approach, he felt frozen now before such a being. "Why announce your presence here? This is my Kingdom, and it is merely courteous of you. I am no child of yours, I am Cadomir the Emperor of Altu, I am the child of Baku and Cascade. I will not hinder your exploration of my kingdom unless you dare to harm, or attempt to harm a single soul living within my domain." Cadomir explained to the creature before him. Astonishing not only himself, but Seraphiel and the collection of guards gathering behind them.
The young king eyed the creature confidently, though it was a mere act. Both this entity and he himself knew the weakness and vulnerability he felt before it. He would not perform as a coward in front of his kingdom however. The anxiety rolled in his stomach, making him feel more sick than the presence of such a being.

I. Know the ways of the shadows, am the beating of the night know thy as Vlapalo. Vlapalo only waited in serene silence as the mortal returned the greeting, though honestly the immortal couldn't remember if this was the correct way to greet the children or not, but then again he didn't particular care. The shock of the other stallion though did not go unnoticed by the Chaos Lord as he continued to be, allowing the wind to slither through his branches and make its way across the leaf patterns that decorated his side.
But the continued hesitation on the side of the mortal made Vlapalo move his head from side to side, disapproving of the wary nature of the other. Lips though would crack as they slowly bent upwards once again. 'What are you?' It was a question that the immortal was used to getting. "I am the Chaos Lord, I am that which will end this world," his mental coo would stop at that thought before slowly continuing "I am that which will be your savior, I am immortal, I as old as this world itself, I have seen the beginning of time and I will see the end." The soft mental whisper would burn away with a hint of satisfaction.
He would then choose this moment to glance at the other that hovered just behind Cadomir, a faint smile gracing his features as he flicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth before glancing back towards the decorated stag in front of him. "Ah but you are, everything stems from Chaos." He explains in a slow lull. "So somewhere down the line you are of Me, child of this age of reckoning." A pause though would assault his sentence somewhere within the middle before a rasping chuckling rippled along the mental connection. "It is what you turn the Chaos into, is what defines you mortal children of mine."
The explination ceased suddenly as he turned his head to look more inwards within towards the kingdoms land. His ears flicked slowly forward as the tree upon his back seemed to lean forward, as if pointing the direction in which they would like to grow. "Perhaps a tour is in order? Perhaps We would like to meet some of your other subjects, King Cadomir?" The stallion would give pause, ceasing diligently as he flicked he gaze towards the mortal as he made demands to not harm anyone within the kingdom lands. "We...I am not here to harm any of you, simply observe."
Though another idea seemed to dance its way into the thoughts of the being as he glanced towards Cadomir. "You have impressed us, with your...brave words," he mentally mused towards Cadomir with a hint of sadistic amusement dancing behind the shadows of violet hues. "Tell me more about yourself, and those that you call yours to protect." He asked as slow steps where taken forward as he attempted to close the distance between himself and his partner, as his gait continued onwards at a slow and leisurely pace.
OC: LOL XD poor cado so confused

C A D O M I R | 愛 S I D D E H 愛 | Each internal whisper plagued him. Each slow phrase uttered, forcing him to pay close attention though he craved flight. Cadomir's blue visionaries locked on the treed creature. One who introduced himself as the lord of chaos. The be all end all of life as they knew it. The young king's heart skipped a beat. The ominous feeling in his body was not a mistake, and he realized this encounter was serious. Each phrase he spoke of the past, and future made the king sick. Wondering now if he should alert the Imperium kingdom, as well as Reach of this creature's coming. A shudder finally rippled down his grayed bod, the request of a tour did not bode well now either.
The steps the creature took were noticed immediately by both Cadomir, and Sera. Despite his own fear, Sera intercepted the treed creature, allowing Cadomir to fall behind him. "Please respect a personal distance. I dare not trust you so close to my own flesh and blood." Sera's deep tones were even. Staring with his seagreen eyes into the creature's own. Though Sera's fear was rightfully placed, he felt it more important to protect Cadomir than anything else. Though appreciative, Cadomir pressed his muzzle against Sera's flank carefully. "Sera, I appreciate the concern. I do desire that I have my own space, and I am curious about you, .. though I know of your title, surely you have a name?" The young king inquired. Though he trusted the words of this creature to be truth, he dared not play to recklessly with this creature.
Sera hesitated to move from in front of Cadomir. He trusted the boy's words however. "Regardless of your age, and your claims. I do not know of you in a manner that I may call family. I do not care if every particle that breathes inside of me is your design. Has been touched by your very being. In time will you come to know me. I will cater to your request for a tour. So long as you keep your word. My kingdom is small, but it is proud. The very blood of my family runs long into the past of this kingdom. Though some disdain my presence, others are comfortable with it. I hold no opinion of myself as a ruler, only that this Kingdom will be restored to it's former glory. That of which I'm sure you know if your claims are true, and not the delusion of some crazed fool. Though this I doubt considering your strange way of communication" Cadomir ended his speech at that.
Though he knew his words were dangerous, he and he trusted the feeling in his gut he had to know. Seraphiel even looked a bit startled by the young king's bold words. Finding himself backing away finally, though he hovered closely at Cadomir's injured shoulder. Cadomir awaited the creature's response before he would invite him to join his side for the tour. Though every bone in his body was against the idea, he had to gauge the safety of his kingdom. So far there were no viable threats made. Until then, Cadomir would show hospitality as he'd been raised to do.

I. Know the ways of the shadows, am the beating of the night know thy as Vlapalo.
The stallion merely waited for a response from the mortal in front of him. How he longed to step forward and rub his crimson patterned side against the side of the decorated mortal. He longed to feel the fur of the other quiver under his touch, he longed to drape his neck across the back of the other man and breath his steady corruption over this righteous companion. Vlapalo wanted nothing more than to break him, mentally and physically, to have this righteous man slither into the depths of Chaos on the downward spiral.
Hesitation though as well as the movement away made the stallion smile once again. A soft chuckle made its way from the recesses of his mind and onwards and forward as he took a step to the side as the one that was behind soon stepped in between the two of them. The longing to give this mortal his soft touch would have to wait, since he was so rudely interrupted. But he allowed the expanse of his mind to stretch forward towards the second mortal that was standing here. This time he pushed forward an singular idea...silence and desolation.
The notion was cold and hard, it's jagged edges unforgiving as the tundra as the stag allowed his mental prowess to slither forward and show his disapproval for the interruption. No words would follow the sickening sense of silence that he sent forth. The immediate felling of being alone in the shadows would slither around the Chaos Lord as he jerked his head upwards, nostrils flaring with irritation as he snorted harshly. He was refused the right to touch his child by one that he did not wish nor want to address. Vlapalo would be sure to remember this in the future.
But the child...Cadomir, seemed to set his irritation to rest by speaking once again. Ears swiveled upon his head as he glanced back towards the King of this land. Bemusement slithered along his thoughts as he turned his mental focus back towards the decorated stallion. "Vlapalo," he allowed the disattached voice that he owned to put forth once again. His ears turned back, flicking behind him as he lowered his head once again as the last of his irritation slithered away.
But the other stallion would speak again, agreeing to give him the longed for tour of the lands. Vlapalo slowly nodded, he would not go back on his word to not harm the mortals while he was here. As an immortal, his word was the only thing of value that he could hold onto. Deeds faded with the times, and those where often forgotten if not passed on through the generations.
"You're kingdom will grow and flourish only if you are willing to do what must be done," he retorted back to the mortal. "Greatness is not something that comes and goes like the cycles, it is something that must be obtained." Voice slithered growing lower and more in depth as his breast rose and fell with the sway of his thoughts. "You will need to strenghten your bonds with allies, if you are to prepare for that which is to come."

C A D O M I R | 愛 S I D D E H 愛 | Cadomir noticed the change in Sera. His eyes grew wide with fear just moments before he removed himself from the front of the King. The monarch felt this had something to do with the creature before him, and his own annoyance now surged towards the entity. Vlapalo. "Refrain from influencing my guards. They do as I ask freely, I do not need your aid nor your threat on my people. I've already asked you to respect my wishes. As you can see, I do not demand nor impose myself on others. I ask things of them, Vlapalo." His voice was now more heated as he spoke. He didn't appreciate anyone tampering with his home, nor domain.Though his annoyance diminished. He would not be taken lightly, not as a joke. Young, but not naive. The grullo hessian soon turned to invite the creature into his home for the beginning of the tour. "You can come this way, I formally invite you into my domain. I will show you the great kingdom of Altus myself." Cadomir stated again, before he began a few movements. His limp still prominent even now.
His gait much slower than others his age should've been. There was no quick step, no distracted twinges. The chocolate haired brute stared now at his guards all clamoring among themselves. His blue eyes locking onto the group, he cleared his throat now. "Our guest Vlapalo has asked for a tour of our great kingdom. I expect all of you to remain here and do your jobs. Yes, even you Seraphiel." Cadomir warned his cousin before he could speak. The shire brute did not protest however much he now distrusted the creature. With that he wove a path through his guards, pausing on the other side of them to glance back at Vlapalo. His last words touched his inner thoughts once more. "Of course I am very aware of that. But I will manage to do so in an honorable way, and I will not step on the lives of others to achieve greatness. Though I will surpass those who oppose me, and those who oppose Altus. Do not mistake my generous, and kind demeanor as weakness. I will just as soon eviscerate an enemy if it means protecting even one of my kingdom members. I am kind and generous because I choose to be, not because it drives who I am." Cadomir cautioned his guest now.
Though he was no longer completely afraid of him. Wary was a better term, though the creature had proved to be polite enough. Cadomir began his altered movements. Straining the muscle in his shoulder to allow some leeway. Trusting the creature would follow him further into the heart of Vahill now. Cadomir knew this land the best of all those that decorated Altus. "Here in Vahill resides many peaks. I prefer the colder mountain temperatures to the more moderate ones.. There is a frigid lake just up ahead here if you'd like to see it. Usually the residents of Vahill don't stray much farther past the lake, but there's plenty of impressive scenery to take in. It's the quickest way into the heart of the kingdom." Cadomir explained as he now made movements toward the cold lake. Wondering if the creature would mind if he ended up trudging through the lake himself.

I. Know the ways of the shadows, am the beating of the night know thy as Vlapalo. Vlapalo breathed out softly, his head tucking towards his chest as he moved his chin back and forth through the grizzly entangled man. The fear that flashed before the eyes of the guard only brought a pleasant air to the entity as he nodded his head towards Seraphiel, he was certain he made his point, and therefore no more action needed to be taken on the notion. But as the mortal allowed irritation to spew forth from parted jaws, the entity could only allow that breath to be pushed forward sharply. But he mentioned nothing more to his words as he casually glanced around the area, as if he misplaced something. Soon enough though, violet hues to slide back to the decorated King as he flicked his tongue quietly against the roof of his mouth. The invitation to enter though seemed to be coming a bit late and misplaced to Vlapalo, but he didn’t mention it as he allowed his hind right hoof to cock and rest upon the terrain. The immortal even waited as the King turned to address the other Children that where gathered here. But upon the departure of the guard, and the last glance back, his lips would slowly curl upward, a soft warning through the ages as he pressed one more thought towards Seraphiel. “Be well, Child.” The mental murmur seemed pleasant enough, but of course, one could never tell where pleasantry began, and un-noted hostilely end. Cadomir though responded to his second statement with a short speech of his own. Eyelids would lower to half-mast and then shut as he absorbed the Child’s words and thought upon them. Perhaps there was something here that was corruptible after all. “Are you?” The mental lullaby began again as the silence seemed to creep around the Chaos Entity. That impending aura that clung to his coat was soon absorbed and snaked out of sight and into the tree that was his burden to bear. “Tell me why you choose to be…kind and generous, I am honestly curious.” Vlapalo allowed the question to fade into the silence as heavy hooves droned onward as the draft creature followed the King. “Why do they not go past the lake?” The question seemed like a simple one, but Vlapalo was already constructing a plan instead of the expanses of his mind, each brain cell ticking away as he glanced upon the withering but trying to bloom kingdom. Hooves continued onward though as they approached the lake, his ears would lazily flick forward as his shoulders sagged for a moment under the exertion. “Tell me about yourself, Ca…do….mir,” the Chaos Entity all but purred the mortals name in that soft but sadistic whiplash whisper. 愛 S I D D E H 愛LAIKA OF GS!

C A D O M I R | 愛 S I D D E H 愛 | Cadomir was beginning to catch onto this creature's demeanor slowly. Though he tolerated it, he really didn't care much for such darkness. As the pair departed, Seraphiel shot Cadomir a warning glance. Though his cousin took a large step away from the creature out of discomfort. Another trickle of irritation slithered into Cadomir's body. The entity questioned about the lake, and he gave a bit of a shrug himself. "I suppose because it is a more dangerous path, though it is the quickest. I do not fear the dangerous terrain that marks some locations in Vahill however." Cadomir explained to Vlapalo as they slowly approached the specified location. The creature mused a bit more to the king, asking if he was truly generous and kind. Then inquiring as to why he was that way. Cadomir paused his thoughts a moment, and began to actually wonder about such a thing. He had been so cautious as a ruler here, but that didn't have anything to do with his demeanor.
It seemed most logical that he took after his father. "I am not a liar, dear Vlapalo. I am kind, and generous by nature. That doesn't mean it's all sunshine and butterflies however. I take mostly after my father, though have been spared the darkness that plagued his mind. I am this type of ruler because I refuse to follow a similar pattern as those rulers before me. Though great in their own way, they were either too lenient, or not enough. The kingdom of Altus has become a lazy child that needs to be put to work. Not with force, but with compassion and a firm rule. Though you may obviously disagree, oh dark one." Cadomir taunted Vlapalo in a friendly manner now. His confidence growing in the creature's presence.
The lake shortly came into view, it's spacious belly consuming a large portion of Vahill. The closer they came to the lake, the more distinct the sound of the falls became. The creature then hissed slowly, and more quietly. Forcing Cadomir to focus. "Tell you about myself? What could you possibly want to know about me? I am the king of Altus, the lead of Vahill. The son of Cascade and Baku. My blood runs commonly through many equines in these lands. I was given the throne by the Harbringers who did not belong in the first place. At least not in my honest opinion. They may be a respectable bunch, but Altus has suffered for the mistakes that were made. I harbor no darkness in this heart of mine, so if you're searching you can stop. For an eternal entity, you're certainly not very up to date on the happenings. Are you not aware during... where have you been all these years?" Cadomir slowly realized Vlapalo had not given his whereabouts for the past however long. Only that his home was upon Erebus Peak.
Cadomir cast a sidelong glance at Vlapalo now. His blue occulars studying the creature with the tree upon his back. The sickness he felt when he first encountered Vlapalo had faded. Though that did not mean he harbored any amount of trust for the being. He had already gone against what Cadomir asked once. If he did so again, the tour would end. He would ask Vlapalo to leave Altus. For now it seemed he was just a curious creature. The grullo king heaved a sigh now, returning his gaze forward. Continuing onward past the lake, despite is desire to submerge his now aching shoulder.
