. . .A P H R O D I T E. . . crying out for 'coup de grace' Muck sucked itself to small scrawny pillars making it harder than it already was for the colt to keep his balance while pulling and tugging to release the grip from the earth so he could advance and stay up with his mother. Snarling the colt cursed this land as he trudged through it, he hated it, he hated the mud and the dampness, he hated the arachnid creatures that made this please home, the slimy snakes that slithered above and at times fell to the floor below just to spite him just to see the surprise in his eyes, though seldom did he leave the beasts alive. Snorting the colt looked towards his lightly toned mother, turning his head as he walked around to the front of her seeing her orbs shut, just admiring something… but what? Nothing about this cold, dead place was worth a second of admiration. Rolling his orbs the colt lowered his mug to the ground, looking at the mud and smelling it inhaling the stink that just so happened to be laced with that of his father, Syndicate. It had been a crisp morning, the weather was always cool here but it had warmed up slightly and because of this Aphrodite took the chance to go on a walk with her young child and perhaps teach some important life lessons, or at least attempt to. When she first arrived here, years ago she was skin and bones, now she was fit, a brilliant vibrancy covered her entire being and her heart was mended. Though her past would never be erased, and with her past came the voices of her past mistakes, of her past flaws. Sinister’s voice still echoed in her head, told her to do things she would never do and before Alastor she would go below Syndicate’s radar and attempt to end herself though these incidents happened less and less often as time went on; and now that she had Alastor the demon screamed and raged but she held herself back and would continue to do so until he was grown and could care for himself. With each very other step the mare took she made sure her kin was beside her, he was still awkward in how he carried himself and trudging through the thick muck would strengthen him and while she could hear him cursing her and this land under his breath, and she could see the frustration she smiled, bright aqua orbs gleaming with pride at the determination he possessed, she kept going onwards just not too far ahead of him to keep him encouraged enough to continue on. After they had walked nearly half the parameter of Serpents Sanctuary Aphrodite paused and shut her orbs, feeling her son’s three blue and red orbs looking at her in confinement she just stood silent admiring the peace the place she grew to love offered her, she knew that Syndicate would come looking for her shortly and along the border would probably be a starting point. | Text | Speech | 0504 | Muse: okay |
