Wow, this water was so clear! I'd never seen anything like it! It seemed to stretch for miles across the long land, as far as I could see. I thought I could see pretty far too. Well, that was besides the point, I just needed some water. It was my first time drinking something other than milk, I wondered what it would be like, doing something new. Would I fear new things? Or would I love it? I didn't know. I sighed and took a step forward into the grains of sand, another new feeling. My lanky dunskin legs were strong though, I thought they'd feel like jelly. I was nervous, extremely. No one was around except for myself, so they couldn't see me, which was probably a good thing. This was embarrassing, being scared of water. I don't think it was the usual. Hm... maybe it was? Oh, I was procrastinating! I surged forwards, so my gray-ish black hooves where halfway in the cool water. I bent my long dun neck down and took a long sip of the chilly water. 

It was like something I'd never experienced before. I felt elated that it was so refreshing and cold! It rushed down my throat into my stomach, quenching the thirst I had. I quickly walked more into the water, even though it was a drinking hole, who said that I couldn't take a short trip into it? It might even cool me off, hide my scent from predators. Oh, predators, something else I'd forgotten about. I quickly lifted my large, growing head, looking around the area for predators. It looked all clear so far. I shimmied back into the blue ice [not really ice]. I sighed in relief from the growing temperature, and started kicking my hooves, attempting to get away from the ground. It worked. I quickly moved them in a paddling motion, I suppose this was... Watering? No, I think my mother had mentioned it before. It was called swimming? Yea, I think it was called swimming. It was fun! I was more of a forest and birds nature type of horse, but water was just as relaxing.

Pastel orbs watched the dun filly in a very open curiosity. Saélihn had always been a curious little bee, even from birth. She wanted to know what the world was all about, how things worked, why things worked the way they did. Why did bees collect pollen? Why did flowers bloom in certain times of the year? The multitude of whys and hows were a large jumble in her head and she couldn't help but stay around things for hours, simply studying them. Her mind ate up the information like a sponge even though she had the faint feeling that she already knew this. It clawed at the back of her mind and never seemed to go away. But this never stopped her from wanting to learn.

The dun filly before her was just as intriguing to the winged filly. Ki'tzr flapped his wings, landing upon a branch near the filly. The bird wasn't quite as large as he would be, but he was still very intimidating to look at. He looked at her with his large eyes and she let out a soft giggle. She silenced herself instantly when the dunskin lifted her head to look about. Saélihn lowered her silver perlino bodice slightly, not exactly wanting the filly to see her just yet. She watched with her pastel purple eyes until the green tainted filly lowered her head again and began swimming. The daughter of Creature and Entropy grinned softly then, lifting her lanky legs and stepping out of the forest line. Her little wings were folded against her body as she walked forward in an elegant stride, almost too elegant for her growing bodice. Ki'tzr flapped his wings and soared above her, keeping his body right behind hers, but high enough that a predator would not snatch him up and high enough that he could dive bomb anything that came at his little charge.

Saélihn walked to the water's edge, placing her small hooves in the water and smiling at the younger filly.[smear:bd63d4]"Hello!"[/smear:58026d:1] Her soft vocals called out to the dunskin filly, a friendly face placed upon her features. The silver filly held a sort of wisdom in her eyes, as if she had seen everything in this land and lands beyond. It was odd that something so sane and beautiful had come from two very unstable and hideous parents. Whom she loved with every inch of her heart.
