C A B O O S E
Remember that time that I saved your life? You were happy, I could tell.
You said something about how I was smart, and I make your life a living heaven.

Dark blue eyes looked down at the small creature. It was hissing and snarling at him; backed against an overhang. The fifteen hand stallion's face was screwed up in an annoyed confusion. His lips were turned sideways, almost as if he were puckering up for a kiss and one half of his face was numbed to oblivion. His dark nares flared and the creature snapped its jaws at him. The young stallion's dark ears flicked forward but he did not flinch. His blue roan bodice was currently stretched out, legs splayed in four directions. He pulled his dark limbs together and stood straight, the animal before him backing more into the wall when it realized how much bigger the male was to it. 'Nooo, don't be like that!' He groaned, brows knitting together in frustration. He moved forward and the animal reached on and snapped at his ankles. The blue stallion felt the bite and the little creature latched on, shaking its orange head furiously. 'Hey! Hey! That is not nice!' His vocals were loud but they had a laziness to them, almost a slight slur. But this did not seem to register in the fox's mind. Caboose lifted his leg, lifting up the fox until its back legs were barely on the ground and he shook his leg. The little beast growled and yanked back before letting go.
Caboose's dark eyes drifted down to look at the bleeding wound as the fox backed into its wall again. His brows knit together at the sight of the blood. 'Naw, look what you did.' His lazy, slow vocals rolling to the fox; but they fell on deaf ears. The stallion put his hoof back on the geo and focused back on the fox. He was determined to take this fox and show him around. He was his friend! But the fox did not seem to like that idea. Caboose stepped forward, making to take the fox by the scruff of its neck, but the little beast latched onto one of Caboose's ears. The stallion let out a startled sound and gathered his limbs beneath him, turning on his hindquarters and bolting, the fox still attached until the blue roan took three strides and the red animal released, landing on its side before getting up and bolting into the forest. But this did not register to the young stallion. He kept running, bucking every now and then and tossing his head. His hooves sank into the dirty sand and he slid to a stop before bunching up his bodice and bouncing around, kicking out every once in a while, all the while he was letting out a god awful, oddly relaxed scream of sorts. He looked as if he were either frolicking in the sand or trying to kill something. He continued this for a few minutes before he stopped, legs slightly spread out, eyes looking all over for the fox. ' Hey! Where'd you go? Come back!' He yelled out, moving through the sand, searching for his lost buddy.
