Sample Post: It was bright, too bright. Blue and white pupil colored eyes squinted then closed, blocking out the harsh element. His being felt weak, his large mass lying in a pool of after birth. The wings that sprouted from his shoulders splayed out barely moving. He felt a body move then, and he looked before him. The sight was beautiful to the new born colt. His hide a grotesque purple hue from the mixture of blue coat and red blood. His new mother. She was no angel, he could feel that, but she was his angel. The young colt went to stand then, his legs giving out before he could rise. It did not deter him though and again he tried to stand. This time he was successful, and the powerful sleek form of his mother was there to help. He smiled, a smile that was far beyond his years, and gazed up at her. It would come with time, but he saw something in his mind that made him tilt his head at her, and a voice rang quietly in his subconscious. "The Risen" His small voice quivered for its first use and he took a step, wobbling and leaning against Wicca. "The Risen.. My name, mom." He said. HE did not understand it at all, but he knew the name would be his. He swatted his tail, which was already a good length for a newborn and he continued to gaze up at her. The ability to see, overwhelming for the old soul that was born into this young body.
Months passed, and The Risen continued along his mothers side. He had seen only a glimpse of his grandfather Lucifer, and he had a feeling that he made the white stag nervous. For what reason, he would learn all the later. He paid no mind though, as he was a solitary colt, wandering the great expanse of Cocytus's halls. He was growing an affinity for Glow worms and their silk. They harbored in his growing antlers, and sometimes clung to the bone like texture of them, adding to his illuminated spots. On this particular dawn more worms than normal had been gathered in his crown and along his large wings. He wanted to show his mother, to get her approval. As he was wandering it was then that he heard a call, it was not one he had heard before. Curiosity over took him, and he abandoned the search for Wicca. He exited the halls and came to the flat land, his glowing eyes adjusting to the day break. His skull tilted as he saw a figure on the horizon, innocence in the body but a darkness surrounded her form. The Risen was confused, as he was drawn to the other foal. He didn't see any of the adults in view and so he did not hesitate. He approached with his head tilted still, his eyes watching her intensely. There was something familiar in the eyes of the filly, and as he came to stop in front of her he could not stop staring. Lately he was having more intense visions of a past life, of past equines but none of it made sense. He wanted to tell his mother about it, so she could tell him what they meant.. but right now, all he could do was focus on the filly. She was beyond beautiful, and without realizing it, he felt himself inching closer and closer to her. "So pretty.." His said unde rhis breath, watching her still.
