Name of the territory: Sanguis
Description: Sanguis resembles a small cove, though it is much more than that. Cliffs high above a turbulent bay, extending as far back as the small canyon entrance. Rocks adorn the bottom of the cliffs, speckling the beach with their jagged edges. The sands give way to a moderate sized meadow, split in half by a small stream that runs into the bay. The entrance of Sanguis is covered in a decaying forest. The dead carcasses rise high into the sky, though their limbs have all been stripped bare. Evidence of an impressive fire is extremely apparent. The ground in the forest is covered in ash, and grayed dirt. It seems to be mostly devoid of life, each step one takes stirs the decaying debris of Sanguis. The stream that cuts the meadow in half, also slithers off into some obscure distance in the territory of Sanguis. A crumbling set of cliffs mark the very entrance of Sanguis, creating a treacherous canyon to the eerie land.

J A C E L I S E Get out of here fast I hate to break it to you But I'm not drowning Ash clouded the area beneath her feet. Having navigated the dangerous canyon, a tawny faced minx trudged through the decaying forest. Wiped out by some impressive fire of the past. The atmosphere was strangely damp, despite the nature of the ground. The purple eyed minx drew closer to one of the skinny, stretching carcasses that reached for the sky in vain. There was no life here. She bared her ivories, curling her kissers over he gums. She reached out and tore off a twig, it shattered just at her merely brushing against it. The charred bark fell into the ash, crumbling it's former insides along with it. Jacelise smirked, curling her lip back down over her ivories once more. She was satisfied with this location so far. It was not nearly as impressive as the tainted history of Tiff Cliff, but it would do. The minx had heard of lands barren of life. However she refused to take up a home within the confines of Cocytus. Witchcrypt was by far almost as irritating to her as was the empress herself. She hardly had any pedigree to show for her accomplishments either. Just a haughty bitch. Jace pinned her auds against her cranium at the mere thought. She was not overly aware of the creature that held title here. The name suited it well though, having crossed a desert to get here was worth it. The dangerous canyon was the perfect entrance for her own home. The tawny faced minx trudged forward, toward the salty stench in the air. How she wished this land would have such a history as Tiff Cliff, perhaps the fire wiped out the last inhabitants. The thought made her grin, as she broke the decaying forest to a meadow. The stream in the middle of the meadow had jagged rocks jutting from it's depth. Jace narrowed her purple occulars carefully toward the small cove. The canyon entrance seemed to extend through the bay she intended to claim. "Sanguis. Beneath my rule, you will become one of the greatest lands in all of Imperium. Contesting even that of Obascus. Greet your new Empress wisely." Jace spoke coldly. Her confidence shattering the silence, and hopefully destroying any confidence or ideas that this place would be any other's. She was now it's rightful empress, and Jacelise was not about to let someone take that away from her Not even Nirvana herself. |
