"My children of Imperium, soldiers of the Revolution, victors and keepers of the Future, this is The Pitt. It is an ancient land, and one that holds many memories for former Darks and Lights alike. The former ruler of this land, Litala, has been missing for a long time, and she is supposed to have run off with the former King Ranjit, but the truth of the matter is unknown.

Regardless, The Pitt needs a new ruler. Today I offer up the following names, and whoever wishes to take on the responsibility may have The Pitt under their rule. Litala did the same for me long ago, and because of her respect for me and her trust in my leading ability, I was able to become your Empress. My only request is that my dearest friend Alexei holds his position as second in command of these lands.

Step forward now, Syndicate and Adhemar. Though I do not know either of you very well, you are the best two candidates for this important job.

In the event that neither of you wish to make The Pitt your own, it will be vacated and the land will wait in silence until a ruler can emerge to reclaim it, or until Litala returns. "
