The Architect
Let go or be dragged
Ebon coloured sands stained the farthest edge of Destruction's Reach. The muscular creature shifted on the deathly coloured sands. The particles protesting his weight slightly, forcing the creature to move closer to the waters. It reeked of the sea here, and despite it's appearance not enough like death. The decaying forests and vast deserts only brought boredom to The Architect. His mercury coloured visionaries scanned the landscape for anything that would provide him with an ounce of fun. Recently he had joined up with a group known as The Syndicate. Though he didn't care much for the whole appeal of staying in one place, surrounded by a few creatures in training too. Chi couldn't stand the Mercenaries for the most part, and the lead he had no opinion of. The Architect realized he should probably respect him, but the bastard just didn't care about anything that much.
The skittering of a small creature made the antlered brute shift his gaze. It was a small, and by it's appearance, wounded doe. Chi stared at the struggling female, a sadistic smile creeping over his features slowly. Not far off he could see her fawn, to which she cried out for. Whether it was a warning, or a cry for help he did not know. Chi glanced at the younger deer, it was not a newborn unfortunately. It would survive the kill he was about to make. The young buck even had a set of his own horns starting to grow. Two small spikes protruded from the base, and were laughable in comparison to The Architect's antlers. He could feel the rush of blood lust surge his body. His body taking off quickly, with purpose. Despite the protest of the sand Chi moved quickly across it's surface.
The heathen descended upon the doe, daggers slamming against her flesh. He took his time listening to her pain now. The younger creature bolted toward Chi, to which he laughed and threw his horns into the small creature's body. Throwing his weight into his head, and up through his antlers to use them as a lever. Chi tossed the small frame of the doe's son into the black sands. Rendering it immobile, and out of breath from the toss. The Architect went on about his work, slowly flaying the doe until her hide lay beside her. In a tattered mess, Chi smiled as he looked back to the young creature. The glint of a true killer in his eyes. "Don't get in my way again. I won't spare your life a second time." Though he wasn't sure if the creature could understand him, he uttered the warning anyway.
The Architect moved away from his work now, chuckling to himself. He allowed her blood to stain his paled hide. Wrinkling his nose in disgust at the stench of the sea as he moved further down the Atrocious Beach.
