KIMIMARO Sun hanging above the land. Thorns flickering all about at the sight of this massive lake that stood before him. The cold feeling that lingered in the air around this bronco. Taking in a deep breath and allowing it to slowly slip from his nostrils. Globes taking in everything as he shifted his muscles within his figure and shook his skull side to side to remove the sight of the snow that was deciding to fall and land upon his skull. Releasing a snort and watching the sight of steam coming from him once his warm breath hit that cold air. Thorns perked forwards as a wicked grin came across his face as he looked at this place. Knowing that he was going to make something of himself in this place now. He had moved through all of the pains that came through his body and now his body had bone like spikes that appeared from his figure. Taking his head and dropping it down to the icy that covered the edge of the lake. Not liking the sight of it since he wanted to sleep. Picking up his dagger and slamming it deep into the ice until he touched water. Pulling his pillar out and tapping around the edge to see the ice slowly breaking away.
"Ugh stupid ice always getting in the way." He mumbled to himself as he dropped his skull and started to sip from this water that laid underneath the winter that touched ice cool water. Feeling it slowly run down his throat with that feeling that he could feel the water lead right down to his stomach with just how cold the water was feeling. Taking the time to get his fill in and then slowly lifting his skull up to scan the land around him. His muzzle able to feel the water slowly running down his chin and down towards the ground. Then he quickly tucked his head and quickly scratched at his chest. Not liking the coldness of his chin touching his warm figure but that itch had been bugging him for a while now. Snorting loudly when he finished.
His figure turning and starting to walk forwards with thorns perked high on his skull. Shifting into a trot as he moved forwards. Trying to scan the land for a good resting place and just getting a feel for the place again. He had missed traveling through this place and just wish he could do it again with the mare he loved and the family that he had, but of course it seemed that the could not even do that. It kind of made him sad deep down inside. That was all he wanted to do and yet could not even do such a thing. He was here now though. By himself wanting to start this new chapter in his life just right. No matter what things he fucked up or who's heart he would end up breaking.
Finally, he had found some where to rest himself. Halting at this very spot where he could look over the lake and be safe from the snow that was trying to fall upon his figure. Shifting his body closer to a tree as he scratched his sides at it slowly. Feeling his spikes kind of carve into it but that did not both him. He was enjoying this moment by himself and was not going to allow himself to be bothered by anything, but now was the part he hated. Standing there looking around to see just who might come in his direction. JUST AS I AM! The snow was falling lightly now, her pelt looked like it just had splotches of white snow dust frozen to it instead of actually being painted with blotchy white spots. Protrusions that fallowed her rib line were folded in and as close to her as she could get them, they were frozen and she was beginning to have doubts about being out and around by herself. Her brother, Gladiator, or her mother, Maim had always been there; she wasn’t sure what pushed her to need some time away from the two. Perhaps it was the pushing and what she was starting to consider lies about her father, how could anyone related to her be as evil as they made him out to be? It just couldn’t be possible, but she had been wrong before. Her tall frame shook as a chilled breeze send a shock down her spine, her hair standing on edge as the shock passed, then laying back down, once it reached her tail, the filly whipped fiercely and slapped the sides of her hocks and then they came to rest, drifting above the tracks she left behind in the foot of snow that she trudged through. Huge canines on her top row of teeth protruded outwards of her mouth, they gave her a very slight lisp and made pulling up grass in the snow a pain, so she refrained from doing so whenever she could. It sends a deep freeze all through mouth and up to her brain, a brain freeze if you would, and that was a feeling that was welcome no where she was sure.
Long limbs carried her in a steady trot, her cranium held high as she investigated the wooded surroundings that she glided through. Her pelt stuck out like a sore thumb and she was surprised she had not been approached yet by another, however this was also welcomed because she didn’t know what dangers lurked out in this land, for it was new to her and this was her first time out without her protective mother or brother. In full truth she was looking for her father, known as Mutilation, however she doubted the brute would be easy to find and would settle for any taste of the world that she could get right now. She had been warned that she wouldn’t be accepted as she was because of her protrusions from her sides and her large teeth, but this warning came unheeded and the filly came fearlessly into the world. She wondered if her father had things about him like she had about her, if he had jagged daggers, or maybe a missing leg, but no, she knew it had to be something that no one could imagine and there for she left the image of her father in her head a blur. Either way he was perfect, and she had to find him somewhere. Each emitted breath the filly was blinded by a gust of smoke as the hot carbon hit the freezing atmosphere. At last she found some sort of life, tracks that she fallowed to broken up ice and then off into the distance, where a moving figure stood, just waiting; but for what? Her cranium turned crooked and she advanced forward, flexing her boney protrusions from her sides, the stood as they should as she advanced and when she got within a few yards she stopped, and stared at the creature before her. He had what looked like spikes and thorns from all over his body, his canines were long as well, just like hers… this couldn’t be him… they looked nothing alike… but yet… the same. She stood in amazement, had mother lied to her? Were there more equines like herself out there? Still being young she had time to figure out, for now, she was on high alert, her twin-peaks twisted forward and her optics never leaving the being before her. Slowly after a short while, with her heart racing and pounding and shoving hot blood in and out, in and out in and out, her kissers parted, and trembling words escaped her maw. Mu… Mut… Mutil… she stopped, took a deep breath and now she spoke clearly, Mutilation? for who else could it be, if not her father. They were both deformed and there couldn’t be very many of them out here, could there?

KIMIMARO This snowing stuff was starting to grow a bit old as he looked around at this place. Shifting his weight under his daggers as he dropped his head down as he moved his body to where he thought some grass would be resting. Flickering his thorns around upon his skull as he moved his muzzle back and forth to remove the snow from where it was resting at. Snorting as some went up his nose. Flinging his head up in the air and stomping his daggers down into the ground with a loud snort. Chomping his pearls at the snow before his eyes turned to see the sight of a little one making her way over towards the bronco. Tilting his head slightly as he heard the sound of her voice entering his thorns. Gazing about the little figure as he tried to get his thoughts together on just what she said towards him and he shook his head side to side as he looked at her for a moment.
"I'm sorry, but that is not my name." He said as he looked over her to try and get his mind around her figure and just what she was trying to get out of her. It seemed that she was looking for someone and yet he was not that equine she was looking for. "My name is Kimimaro, darlin'." He said with thorns perked here as he looked over her body and gave her a smile from his own muzzle and allowed his two canines to show more from the sides of his mouth. "You are a very pretty little one. May I know your name?" He asked with a tad bit of happiness there, but of course that snappy side was wishing to come out but he kept it back and deep within his body as he was glad to see a little one looking like him since it had been a while since he had seen another like him.
Then his eyes looked around for a moment before he turned his gaze back over towards her figure with thorns perked on his head for a moment before he allowed them to move around to try and take in the different sounds and to allow her voice to even come forwards again. "Who are you looking for?" He asked another question as he looked around, but all he saw was this beautiful filly and the sight of the ugly snow that was laying upon the ground and still not letting up at this point. Though he threw his attention off of the snow and back onto the little one. Wondering why such a beautiful creature wandered around here with no parent near her figure. JUST AS I AM! Pale orbs scanned the dark figure in front of her, wet pelt begged to be dried as it dripped with melted ice on her lower half, and frozen ice on top. Her shaggy winter frame looked like a fluff ball, dun and white mixed colors matted together and frozen in others. Brindle stripes half way up her leg were buried under the flakes and every step she pushed the foot of white filth out of her way. Grey smoke became less frequent as she was stopped now, talking to whom she hoped was her father. Her side projections folded in and out to get the acquired snow off of them, leading to a stretch and they expanded the full way out, her neck reached forward and she stretched her neck and wing like structures. Her tiny young frame was short even in comparison to half of this stallion and she held no fear, only the hope that she would soon find out that her father was no longer a mystery, but that wasn't the case. I'm sorry, but that is not my name. the filly's 'wings' drooped and she let a soft oh, sorry emit from her mug. Never the less she advanced towards the jagged structured male and continued to listen My name is Kimimaro, darlin'. Mayhem nooded and watched as he lifted his top lip exposing canines like hers, she picked her head up and gained amazement at him, her wings collapsed inwards and snug close to her body You are a very pretty little one. May I know your name?. My name is Mayhem. She knew she shouldn't talk to strangers, but she felt that this one was okay, he didn't seem threatening nor did he seem slightly scary or intimidating she surly could take him on. She stood there as if he was a normal being and was relaxed, you really think that I am pretty? Her tones were hopeful and she looked up to the stallion in admiration for the words he chose to use that were directed at her, surely this was some sort of trick. Who are you looking for? She looked at him and figured he would have known who Mutiliation was, but perhaps not how he was related to her, I am searching for my father, it would be nice to meet him. They call him Mutilation. I figured you might be him.... due to... well you know. she motioned towards his spikes and looked up at him innocently. but it's okay that you're not. You're probably a better find anyways

KIMIMARO Kimimaro could see that the little one seemed to be a bit saddened at the fact that she was looking for someone and that Kimi was not that equine that she was looking for. Though of course he kind of cleared his mind for a moment as he gazed at her and then around at the terrain for a moment just to make sure that he was not alone at this point and placed his attention right back onto the little one that was before him. Enjoying the sight of the little one and kind of jealous to see that this little one could move the objects that were poking from her sides. It was kind of cool to see at this point. Then watching as she seemed to stretch all around while he gazed at her. Flickering his skull as he lowered his skull and took in a breath of air to gather her scent. An after he had spoke he could see that she was sad that he was not who she was looking for. He slightly felt bad for a change. This little one was all cheerful about things and then he went and ruined things. Not really liking the fact that her father dares to hide from her at this point.
"No need to be sorry. We are all in search of our parents some time in our lives. Both of mine I haven't seen since I was a weanling." He said as he watched the filly carefully. Wanting to lay down but the snow was still pissing him off that it was even there and thinking that it could rest there. An with his thorns drawn away and eyes gazing at her as he seemed to have gained something from her. Hearing the sound of her name drift into his thorns as he gazed at her. "Mayhem. Oh how that is a pretty name for you." Smile still there as he was kind of amused himself with this filly. He had always wanted a little one and this one kind of filled that place lightly as he enjoyed the sight of being near her.
'You really think that I am pretty?' She asked in a tone that he never thought he would hear from another equine. Giving her a soft smile as it was not like it was before. "Mayhem, you are very pretty. Never have seen a beautiful little one like yourself." Every bit of words that came form his muzzle was true. He never imaged himself saying that to a little one since he had seen Scarlet, but something about Mayhem had kind of made him think of himself when he was younger. Wanting someone to accept him for who he was and Scarlet did that for him. So Kimimaro thought it would be nice to do the same for her.
Words taking in the sound of her voice as she said that she is in search of her father. Taking in his name as he tried to think of just who that might be and of course Kimimaro did not know the name and kind of got just why Mayhem would think that he was her father. Knowing the hind that she was giving him as he nodded his head as he understood just what she was saying. Grinning as he felt special with the last bit of words that came from her words. "Thank you for that. I truly needed to hear that today. I'm very glad I meet you, Miss Mayhem. I must say that you are a very pretty find yourself. Love your little wing like things you have. They are very very unique. Which is always a good thing. Not always fun to be normal." His terms were kind and also a tad bit loving right now.
For some reason, Kimimaro was kind of enjoying this little one. She was cute and very out going like that he liked to see. She seemed to remind him of himself when he was younger, but he truly was always in pain when he was little. Though he was going to enjoy this little one while he could. Maybe have a good friendship with her as she grows up if she would allow him to. JUST AS I AM! Cold breezes carried red tassels over the young femme's face, dancing in sophisticated patters that really didn't mean much to her, but blocked her view of her newfound companion before revealing and then hiding him once again. Frustrated with her forelocks antics, the young filly brought her head down and then swiftly tossed it up attempting to get the thick bunch of hair out of the way. Her canines were being threatened with ice, but her hot breath kept them thawed and what appeared to be saliva would drip off the sharp ends every now and again, invisible to anyone not paying attention. Front dagger dug within the snow, marking it's way into the flakes that had piled up but didn't seam to be getting any deeper now. Optics were entranced over the stallion in front of them, scanning his form and taking in his spikes, she wondered if they ever hurt the stallion like they appeared to be. She figured there should be blood from where the protruded like something inside wanted out, like something inside of him broke. His hidden canines were once more exposed and his kind tones left his mug No need to be sorry. We are all in search of our parents some time in our lives. Both of mine I haven't seen since I was a weanling. Her mug placed a look of empathy, she didn't ever thing she would get away from her mother or her brother for that matter, and she wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. The thoughts confused the young filly, why wouldn't someone want to be with their child, well, unless they were busy with other things like Mutilation clearly had to be to stay away from the likes of her. Mayhem, you are very pretty. Never have seen a beautiful little one like yourself. His words warmed her smile that broke through onto her mug, she liked being called pretty, and more beautiful than any other young equine he's ever seen? That surly had to be a high compliment, it was at this point that Mayhem decided Kimimaro was not an enemy but a friend, her friend; and she enjoyed that thought very much.
At this point the filly had begun to trudge her way towards the larger formed stallion, better warm than dead she figured, and even know the snow had stopped falling the breezes had picked up and things were starting to dip in temperature, starting to freeze. Thank you for that. I truly needed to hear that today. I'm very glad I meet you, Miss Mayhem. I must say that you are a very pretty find yourself. Love your little wing like things you have. They are very very unique. Which is always a good thing. Not always fun to be normal. She had only heard the word 'normal' once or twice in her short year of life, never really understood what 'normal' was or stood for. No one was flawless and there for impossible for anyone to be 'normal'. However, she nodded in agreement and appreciation of her words, though she didn't really pay attention to the part about him needing to hear her words, she couldn't comprehend why anyone would need to hear anything. She was now close to the stallion, his warmth was being shared with her and what little warmth she had was shared with him. Yes well, I was born with them, don't have much choice than to accept and admire them myself. Not realizing how grown her tones could be thought to be, the little filly nuzzled her small mug, careful of her canines and his spikes, into his chest, quivering form the cold; perhaps this wasn't the best day to decide to be independent but it wasn't all bad, far from it. Suddenly, a thought popped into her head one that she had feared to bring up to even her brother, Sometimes I crave the taste of something... sharp? almost like dirt. Do you know what that means perhaps? Curious tones brought the cold filly's face out of the warmth it had found as she backed up and began to dig and play in the cold ice shavings, wondering how the brute would react to such a question. Perhaps she should have heeded some sort of caution with the unknown stallion, but she was unknown tot he thoughts of fear and would remain that way for now.

KIMIMARO The snow continued to fall and it seemed that the temperature wanted to just go ahead and drop some more and that is when Kimi started to get a bit concerned about the little one that stood in front of him. Yes, he did not know her long, but she had showed him kindness and he did in return. Though of course Kimimaro just wanted the little one safe and warm from all of this snow that was falling around them. So he shifted his weight under his figure as he tried to get his eyes back upon Mayhem. Seeing that her face seemed to show empathy for the words that he said about his parents. Though of course it did not bother him one bit. He was grown now and was looking more to the future rather than the past life he grew up in. Then it came upon her face the one thing he wanted to see come off of her face. That smile was glowing right off of her face was shining in his direction. Hoping that it meant some kind of good for the bronco.
Putting his gaze around to something else for a moment. Trying to search for a good place for the two of them to hide from all of this crap that was falling from the sky above. Then he heard the sound of hooves coming over towards him. Turning his head and looking down to see the youngster wandering closer to him. He kind of figured that it was for the warmth that he was emitting from his body. Making him almost want to grin harder but of course he did not do that but so much. He didn't want to seem like a stallion that just loved messing with small children. Only thing that was making him smile that he in fact had a new friend. An she even made him forget completely about the red dun mare he had fallen in love with.Thorns perked upon his skull as he took in the words of the little one. Hearing that she was born with hers. Which was a good thing on her part but she was guessing that her mother had a bit of a rough time birthing the little filly.
He nodded his head as he wished he was born with his instead of the pain that was provided for him to have the spikes that grew from his pelt. Then his mind was drawn back in away from the painful thoughts as he could feeling her touch upon his figure. Touching the spikes that were poking from his body. AN just making him smile as he gazed over her and then looked forwards for a moment. "You are lucky to have been born with yours, m'dear. I was only born with my large canines and then my spikes grew in as I grew older. An it was very painful for me to go through all of that." He said simply towards her. Allowing his gaze to turn and look back down to the little one as she spoke again. Giving her a smile as she said something about having the taste of something sharp as in dirt. Though he had not had that feeling before. Though Kimimaro knew that everyone had their own type of personality.
"I don't think I have had one of those yet. Though who knows I might just have one one of these days." He said with a playful smile as he watched her for a moment. Seeing her mess with the cold icy that was around them. Reaching down and dipping his head into the snow and flinging it up into her direction. Watching it fall down heavily and just making Kimimaro laugh as he gazed at her with a smile. "Come lets find some shelter to get a bit warmer." He said in a very caring way. Allowing his eyes to scan and see a nice thick bush that was right before them. Seeing the sight of it and gazing back over towards May. "There is a good place over there by that bush that we can rest under." He suggested to her. Since he knew that the little one was cold even though she would not say anything about being cold. When the weather is white and cold often we lose the joy that the warmth brings with the sun’s rays beaming down on mother earth, flowers bloomed and the world bright, it often becomes a memory. When one loses sight of what once was or could be life is a truly dangerous game, becomes a game of see how long you can stand being depressed by all the bad that exists as you get older. However, for now, the young minx only found wonder and amazement within the dust that sprinkled itself unhindered over the once full of life canvas, now dead and frozen to the core, motionless in time. Young orbs were full of lust for adventure over the seemingly dead land, wanting to wonder off on her own even more than she had already, her breath seemed to be like a trick as it met with the cold and formed, yet again, the grey clouds of mist. Being so young even the smallest things were to her amazement seemingly flawless and magical.
Keeping the adventurous spirit at bay was the stallion that she had found herself now near, never really giving much credit to the short relationship other than the conversation at hand. How her mother or her brother would react was far from her mind, and she had no intention of worrying about that now. You are lucky to have been born with yours, m'dear. I was only born with my large canines and then my spikes grew in as I grew older. An it was very painful for me to go through all of that. Before this point the thought of pain had not been conceived in her young mind and while this would have had an impact on her older self, in the way of showing empathy, the younger more careless filly continued to enjoy and play in the winter’s fluff minding his words but not responding to them. Her orbs caught his face as her small frame jumped and landed to face him, a smile had found its way to his face, she stood for a moment, breathing heavily from her play, and smiled a childish grin back at him. Her boney projections fully extended yet slightly curved, showing as much energy as the rest of her, ignoring the frost bite that was creeping its way up on her as the wind continued to blow.
I don't think I have had one of those yet. Though who knows I might just have one of these days. She nodded her small mug towards him in agreement yet again as the massive stallion lowered his mug and flung a huge gust of lumpy ice at her, landing some on her nares causing her to sneeze a foal like sneeze and covering her short banner in a blanket of ice. She greatly enjoyed the playful side of the stallion and mimicked his actions, though being so tiny it didn’t amount to much, the romping she did threw more snow that her little framed cranium ever could. Come let’s find some shelter to get a bit warmer. She ignored his tones but listened attentively to ever word he spoke as he did for her, and after romping around for a few more minutes she stopped and walked over to the stallion to regard his words There is a good place over there by that bush that we can rest under. Jumping in excitement and taking this chance to do more adventuring, the filly looked into the direction of the bush Well Then Let’s GO! and with the energy of 10 foals she jumped in mounds to it, turning around to see if she had beat her new friend to the destination.

KIMIMARO Kimimaro did not know what do to with himself at this point. He had found himself wandering these lands and even running into beautiful little filly that he did not expect to run into. She was so odd in nature but of course he did not mind it. He remembers being that way and even crushing on an older mare that he soon loved and cared for until she disappeared. Then he seemed to go into some kind of depression. Wanting to almost kill all in sight, but of course he kept his mind straight now that he was a tad bit happier now. Flickering the thorns that were there upon his skull. Shifting his weight as he watched the little mare for a moment. Seeing that she was all foal for real. Loving every bit of life like any youngster should be doing. Taking in a deep breath of cool air. Feeling his lungs fill up with cold and releasing out warm and with steam blowing out along with it.
This stallion had truly found himself a bit of happiness as he could see her continuing to play around with a smile there on her face and her body jumping all around now. She seemed to definitely know how to have some kind of fun as a little kid. Grinning as he saw her land right in place and looked over towards him. Facing him face to face now as she jumped and landed perfectly at him. Watching as the things that were connected to her side seemed to have made their way outwards. They were ever so cool to watch her show her emotions through them in an odd way. Something that not a lot of horses could truly do. Though he did not like the wind that was blowing through here. It was something that a youngster should not be in.
Snickering as he watched her for a moment after he had flung snow in her direction. Watching as it covered her and her head let out a sneeze. Seeing the snow fly all around where he was at. Grinning as he thought it was cute to hear the sound of a foal sneeze. Only because he had never heard the sound before. Allowing his head to lower a tad bit as he gazed at her. Watching as she seemed to romp her little figure around again and with a smile there on her face. Seeing the sight of her stopping and walking over to where he was. Then she could see that she was excited to see that he knew a good place to go and rest. Seeing her jump around with excitement. Grinning from ear to ear at her words as he was ready to go and now.
"I bet I'll beat you." He said with a grin still there on his muzzle. Putting his figure into a trot as he started a head. Turning his skull and looking back to her with a big grin there on his face. "I'm winning." Words headed towards her playfully as he did not go to a faster pace. Only pushing his body over the land and watching to see if she was coming towards where he was at. JUST AS I AM! Spurts of energy flung the filly forward, her front daggers stretching forwards and then back, her hind limbs attempting to keep up. Banner danced behind her, crimson and pail tassels on end effortlessly cutting through the cool air, her whipcords held high and proud as she stayed at least a foot in front of her companion. Mounds of white fluff flung out as the young mare kicked it back, leaving a very evident trail behind her. Her breathing was heavy, each breath staining the air with a gust of white and filling her lungs with an icy coat. Now slowing, the stallion passed her as he was able to stop on demand where as she would slide and collapse under her awkward weight if she tried to stop at the last minute. She held her head high her orbs closed but a slit and her tail high, flicking back and forth, she was proud at her achievement as she knew she had accomplished something great by staying up with the stallion.
Panting now trying to catch her breath, young long awkward daggers shook under her weight after the exhausting run, it was getting late now and while the weather was bad Mayhem knew her mother and brother would be soon looking for her if they weren’t already. While she knew she ought to go and seek them out as well, she was drawn to stay with her new friend and kept herself near him after all they would find her eventually she hadn’t wondered off far. She began to wonder once again about her father whom she had set out to find and if he was possibly looking for her as well or if he was wherever enjoying another foal of his own, maybe his own family that he loved enough to not abandon. Love? She wasn’t even sure if he was capable of it, let alone herself. Sure she was emotionally attached to her mother and brother but love? Was that was love was? With a shake of her cranium the filly continued into the large bush that protected from the strong winds, looking towards Kimi she smiled as she nestled down leaving room for him as well. Her orbs watched the horizon in amazement, the snow was now falling heavier making visibility only a few feet, Good race! her head turned to the stallion now with a large grin, her wings close to her and her limbs folded under, I guess it’s too bad out now to go search for my mother… her tones unsure now they drifted off as her orbs did into the horizon.

KIMIMARO Everything was going right at this point. With the sight of this little filly running at this side. He continued to have a big smile there on his face as he watched her. Keeping her figure right there at his own side. Very happy to see that she was very strong enough to keep up with him. Enjoying her company more than anyone else. Grinning from ear to ear as he slowed his figure and saw that she was kind of out of breath, but she did very well and could see that she was proud of her own self. Allowing his eyes to look about for a moment before he turned his attention back to her. Watching as her figure disappeared into the brush and as she did. He made a quick look before he pushed his figure through. Seeing her all comfortable and resting upon the terrain under where their daggers stood. Luckily there was not much snow upon the ground so resting here would not be but so bad. Taking in the words from the little one as she said that that was a good race. An he nodded his head with agreement as he looked at her.
Allowing his figure to shift and rest near her so that she could get her warmth she needed. Even allowed space that if she wanted to scoot closer. That she could be allowed to come closer to where he was resting at. Shifting his weight lightly as he laid there and took a moment to scan the place before he took in the words of the little filly. Taking his orbs and looking over towards her with a soft smile upon his muzzle. "Yes, it is snowing a bit to hard right now. But when it eases up a little bit. I can help you go and find her?" He said as he looked over to her unsure of what she would say. He was kind of nervous about even thinking of allowing her to wander by herself in this stupid ass snow. Snorting at the thought of the snow and looked around the place for a moment. Trying to think of what he was going to do with this little one to make everything ever so happy.
