| R ocks rolled over each other as the brute walked from the land he had been taking refuge in with the Syndicate into this new territory. His mind ever running and heart racing as he kept his frame tense and held proud, his presence commanded attention and respect from those he encountered from the way he held himself. His entire expression gave no thoughts away, he held it blank presented himself emotionless and cold – a front not many have broken through. While this land was baron of vegetation like a desert, the ground was not sand but broken up stone, and the heat was not unbearable but comfortable. Shortly behind him a large figure fallowed, his ears pinned back and tail down, face mimicking that of his equine ‘ companion’. Unlike the large brute, the steps from the canine were quiet, they were placed delicately and effortlessly onto the rocks no audible disturbances were made. This was how the creature always was, quiet, he would stay hidden when able to but always at a lunging distance away from the stallion. They advanced never making a noise towards each other, each step the steed made his daggers drug over the ground, grinding them to sharpen them and to callus whatever sensitive portions he could. This was part of his never ending preparedness for whenever he was needed. This was part of his training. Quickening his pace, the stallion began a trot, Lupe, the wolf, stayed right on his tail. Now he danced over the earth’s surface avoiding making any noise, practicing his stealth, changing his gate and pace to trip himself up and make corrections. Swerving and gliding over the canvas, the dog began to lunge out and bite at the stallion’s rear legs making contact and drawing blood but once, enough time for the brute to halt, rear up and kick the mutt and turn to face him. Thrusting a front dagger out to kick at him again, he snorted at the dog in annoyance, knowing that he wanted a break and would only do so if Carlisle himself did so as well. Lazy Mutt! He rolled his orbs and cursed him under his breath, the dog growling and showing his sharp teeth to him, the blood he had drawn still staining them. Needing a break himself, the stallion would never have taken one if it wasn’t for his companion, this was how they completed each other. That shrub there, go. the command was barely muttered before the pawed creature darted for the shelter, it was a large tree, bare of vegetation but plentiful with branches to provide shade. Carlisle advanced after the dog, breathing heavily from the long challenge he put his body through, the blood already dried from the contact the dog made. Disgusted look crossed the brute’s mug if only for a moment as he muttered in a growl Happy? to Lupe before turning to keep look out, standing tall and on alert while the dog sat alert but still relaxed breathing heavily under the scarce shade. [smear:039fbd]V I I N T U R U T H[/smear:383c3d]The oxygen before his nostrils steamed as he exhaled. His chest pushing and pulling against the atoms as he filled his lungs with the oxygen of this place. This land was strange to him, one that he had never before come across in his time of travels, and because of this reason, Viinturuth had chosen to stay. A virgin land, that had gone many centuries with poison in it's wells. A land so ripe for the taking, and who was he deny it the spoils of himself. To also taint it's land with his filth, and disgust, to make it better in every way. The aqua stallion had watched the vast landscape from a distance, studying the creatures that dwelled here, and soon enough he found himself disappointed in the lack there of. ( For somehow he expect this vaste land to have more) This place needed him, as much as he needed a new beginning. A new beginning to start over completely, where those who had known of his mother could not judge him, for here they knew nothing of her. These lands where blind to his wicked ways, and the way he had longed for his own dam to come into his chambers at night to give herself to him. Oblivious to the treason he had caused his own kingdom, by bringing war upon it, swift and raging as it was. Could he do it here? Bring these lands of purgatory into fire and hate(again)? With a smile and a quick step over the border he had promised it such.
With his back toward his homeland, and a month under his belt, Viinturuth strolled the roaming lands. He had yet to explore each and every crevice and if this were to be his home he would need to know them. The brightly hued stag would never be at a disadvantage, and soon enough the enemies he would make here, would learn not to underestimate him. For himself, and everything he wanted, there wasn't a line that he would not cross. Not a life he would not sacrifice to the Gods for what he so desired. In all due time, he would acquire each and everything on his list. Domination, and authority of those beneath him, and it would be his for the taking.
The voice that reached him was so faint, and mimicked the angry sounds he had once heard into his mother's chambers. Harks slammed against his crown in agitation of his thoughts being interrupted and gently sauntered forward. The anger that had risen so quickly was placed behind his porcelain mask, and a look of contentment rose upon it instead. For now he was no one here in these lands, but a stranger. Just yet he wasn't ready to be the monster these lands would come to know him as; especially this strange stag who could be a King in his own right. Even his King, though he highly doubted such a thought, for that title had always belonged to him.
Coral orbs peered through the foliage, noting the burnt blood shade of his pelt, almost a complete opposite of his own makeup. The dots along his masculine body began to glow of his will as he stepped out from the darkness. [smear:039fbd]'Tis only me, and my clumsy hooves.[/smear:383c3d] he spoke as he continued across the gap between them, and proceeded to walk past him through the underbrush. Viinturuth turned his head only slightly, his orbs rolling along his spine and wither, and the rest of him. Noting the muscles under his hide. HIs body type was different than the ones that had flocked his people, and silently he wondered if they all appeared this way or if they were snowflakes. Viin made little notice of the pest under the bush, wolves in his country weren't feared, and it appeared here they weren't either. He looked past the brute now, toward the horizon, where the last rays of sunlight vanished. [smear:039fbd]Darkness has fallen.[/smear:383c3d] He spoke, now looking back to him as he rounded and looked upon his blocky facade. [smear:039fbd]Are you not afraid of the things that make the darkness their home?[/smear:383c3d] He asked, pricking his towers only slightly to catch any fear, if there was any to be caught.

| [smear:f8f8f8]C A R L I S L E[/smear:8f8f8f] Death was the only thing that was promised within this life time, the stallion knew this however his demise was not going to be that given so easily. He had fought many wars, led hundreds of willing and unwilling soldiers into battle fighting for what they believed to be there freedom but in reality was only to strengthen his name. He was not selfish, he was only looking out for himself which in this world is what you have to do if you want to get anywhere in life. Perhaps if he had succeeded in a different way of life (the one his father told him he would never have) then he would not be here now, maybe he would have fallen for the crazed mare whom pursued him endlessly the crazy bitch claiming to carry his foal. He could have ended her life and stayed, but it was not his place to kill the mentally insane. Besides, that land held the resting ground of his mother – the only distraction that would pull him out of his ongoing state of mind. Now he watched as the bronc turned to face him, hearing rustling turning behind him the wolf stretched his limbs before advancing a few steps in front of Carlisle. His optics watched the blue frame and body stayed at ease, making contact with the lime orbs and receiving a nod the wolf raced off into the darkness, doing his patrol as normal, as he was trained. Carlisle’s attention was fully on this new creature, the atmosphere stayed relaxed and in a way, he could feel himself benefiting from this new connection in the future. Though he was sure to keep back story short, he didn’t want any emotional ties with anyone in this land and he intended to keep it that way. Perhaps, Carlisle. No such dwelling could shelter those from death you wish to bring them surely? You speak with experience surely you have been around this world for some time. How many rotations? Once again a smirk played up his maw, his orbs blinked as he parted his kissers and spilled his deep tones A dwelling is merely a security blanket. One that makes it all the easier to bring their demise, sir. Being tied to such a stationary time of day is a pitiful thing. One needs to be versatile. He paused his tones for a moment before nodding and continuing 9 Rotations. He gave his age to the brute as he had asked, he had no reason not to, it was nothing that could come back to hurt him in the future. The darkness doesn't frighten me no. I shine there, and I don't need my sight to be successful in whatever task i'm attempting to complete. We all have certain ways of getting just what we are searching for. Nodding, the stallion took in his words, he had no doubt of the stallions abilities, the masculine frame was hidden under his painted unique pelt his scars telling each their own story. What is it you, specifically, do here? You hold the presence and stance of some guard. Do you guard the royal? Turning his head he was confused slightly on how to answer this question, he was a hired hand and not just for a guard. I have no specific task, sir. I am a… hired hand if you will. I perform tasks that others might find… he stopped and inhaled to embrace the next single lyric Messy. He let it ring in the air, sure that the stallion would understand what he was getting at. However, he had not had any assignments in this territory, he had plenty of experience under his belt and would not be under played. 0633 hopefully this speech will be easier to catch? idk if I like this table |

[smear:039fbd]V I I N T U R U T H[/smear:383c3d]The large stallion turned casually away once more from the brute, his harks relaxing against his head in their natural state. The crooked lips upturning was enough for the stallion to know that no fear laid within this stranger's heart. At least not for the moment. They all had it, whether or not many decided to wield it from their bowels, it was there. Viinturuth would have been an idiot in saying that even he didn't have some sort of mortal fear that could end him as quickly as the first freeze of winter to a young plant. His however, had been left behind as a corpse who could have ruined him if she had stayed alive. Imprisonment wasn't something he was all to found of either, and could even say slightly feared being put in a deep and dark cave. Yet, the one that most ached his bones whenever he thought of it was mostly not being remembered. In lands far from this one, his striking pelt was enough to make them remember his name, in others it bloodshed, and hunger for the lands youthful dames had sufficed. Here, the path was darkened with uncertainties, and this stallion in a way was a stepping stone for him to see into its strengths, and perhaps weakness.
Hearing the almost forced chuckle Viin turned on the brute, watching him carefully as he conversed. So they weren't all defensive as many where in other lands. The azure stag welcomed this trait, and hoped beyond hope many where like this fellow in some sense of the word. [smear:039fbd]"Perhaps, Carlisle."[/smear:383c3d] He used his name freely and easily as if he had known him for quite sometime. If another were to walk in they would have thought the two comrades in some war where they had fought side by side. His body was relax not in the least bit defensive or weary, though his mind's eye was watching fully for any jerk or twitch that was not welcome from the chocolate czar an his mutt. [smear:039fbd]"No such dwelling could shelter those from death you wish to bring them surely? You speak with experience surely you have been around this world for some time. How many rotations?"[/smear:383c3d] He inquired, tilting the smugness of his crown gently to the right and peering at the lupine under the bush.
His shoulder rotated, stretching their ailments in the pale moonlight, before speaking more. [smear:039fbd]"The darkness doesn't frighten me no. I shine there, and I don't need my sight to be successful in whatever task i'm attempting to complete. We all have certain ways of getting just what we are searching for."[/smear:383c3d] Viinturuth was rather starting to enjoy speaking with another. It had been quite sometime since he had been int he company of another, and even longer since it had been a male he found no immediate need to destroy. [smear:039fbd]"What is it you, specifically, do here? You hold the presence and stance of some guard. Do you guard the royal?"[/smear:383c3d] Again the towers upon his skull pricked, and his orbs seemed to light with a certain flame of intcreasing curiosity.[smear:039fbd] [/smear:383c3d]

[smear:039fbd]V I I N T U R U T H[/smear:383c3d]For a time the silence stretched between them, only the mutt down upon the ground made any sound, light as it was. Viinturuth watched in amazement as the wolf looked for a cue from a being that in past days had surely been the prey. It was as if they were companions, destined to travel this life together and side by side. Through and around quarrels they were surely have, but being without a sustainable pack, the little puppet would not survive long without his equine "friend". Wolves had been common in his lands, and when he was but a colt the land feared them as ravenous predators. Yet, by the time he was an adult they had been run out and no one had feared them any longer, and he had never seen anyone keep one as a pet. He wondered how this certain friendship came about and if the duo could be separated permanently in the future at some point.
Did he want to ruin the friendship between predator and prey? At the moment he wasn't sure, and from what he gathered the large brute was on the fence about wanting to keep this stallion for his own at all. One day, when a crown sat upon his head, he might need a right hand, a leader for the wars that would surely follow in his reign if the kingdom didn't not bow to his will and respect them as their King. In the future he might just need some able body to help he defeat rebels that stood against him, and not just some hired hand that would work for any and all.
Viinturuth listened without interruption to all things Carlisle had to say, even the moments he paused to catch his breathe. Internally, the prince inside him sneered with pride as the stallion used words such a sir, as he had often been called in his mother's home. A suddenly made up his mind that he would like to keep this brute for his own benefits, and would pay almost anything the stag desired.
The azure czar was thinking of all things mentioned before during that time and it was only when the silence seemed to drag out longer than before did he suddenly speak. [smear:039fbd] "Hired hand, mmmm? An assassin, what a lovely occupation."[/smear:383c3d] He patrolled the area the pair occupied, for no reason other than to be in motion. It seemed in ways a bit dramatic and one wasn't always in the same place. [smear:039fbd] "From one soldier to another, how do you find your ranks? Satisfactory to taking orders and living under others of the same rank?"[/smear:383c3d] He asked, knowing fully well the stallion could be fully filled with joy after seeing battle and now wasting away as some stationary dog waiting for a bone so he could get his bloodshed. [smear:039fbd] "Has the King of Imperium rendered your services to protect his treasures?"[/smear:383c3d] He through in one more question for good measure, for his growing curiosity for the rulers of these lands grew with each and every passing moment. | [smear:f8f8f8]C A R L I S L E[/smear:8f8f8f] thers may find silence to be unwelcomed, something that they avoid at all costs, the ability to hear the things moving that they cannot see or put a name to can be unsettling to those who admire the noise of the commotion they make. Every movement they make in the direction and intended to create noise, blocking out the creatures of the night, the day and dusk, blocking out the creatures that they don’t know. In Carlisle’s mind silence was golden, he learned more about this brute and his metallic coat the less he talked and the more silence embraced the trio. A movement in the rear of his vision alerted him that Lupe was on his way back from patrol he let the mutt wonder his way past the brute back behind himself. Carlisle’s lime orbs watched the brute before him as he started to move in no particular fashion nor reason other than movement, his body did not tense up but he wore his masculine frame proudly as he moved around the terrain maneuvering as he wished breaking the silence. Hired hand, mmmm? An assassin, what a lovely occupation. Lightly snorting Carlisle nodded and shifted his weight, his whipcords slashed the air and slapped his flank as he attempted to rid himself of the night dwelling blood suckers. They were more annoying than anything and within the silence were the loudest things near them. From one soldier to another, how do you find your ranks? Satisfactory to taking orders and living under others of the same rank? Cocking his head in curiosity his pools fallowed the moving brute, keeping silent for a moment longer as he alerted his twin peaks to the sound of his voice again. Has the King of Imperium rendered your services to protect his treasures? He had not been employed in this territory as he was just getting his name familiar with those who made need him, they had not called on him yet but they would eventually. Returning to the previous question he parted his lips and low bellowing tones came out from his throat Satisfactory is the least way of putting how I feel about it. I live to serve, sir. Then slightly turning his head to the direction of the stag he spoke again, answering the last question that was spoken. It seems we are not in high demand. It is a thieves market for the moment. He then stood silent, Lupe behind him standing silently watching the horizon cautiously awaiting for something to happen. 0428 Short but hey! |

[smear:039fbd]V I I N T U R U T H[/smear:383c3d]The night had become still, the air unmoving through the dense forest that surrounded them. Summer had come, and with it, the unbearable heat. It reminded him of his desert homeland even in this darkness. Soon enough the temperatures would plunge down into comfortable conditions and then he would be on his way. Glassing over the land like some wraith and leaving this lonely stag on his own to go about whatever it was that he had interrupted, though it had not looked like much at the time.
The brute was a tight lipped, and slowly Viin was slowly realizing with uncertainly if he could get any valuable information off him. Imperium. It was an interesting name for the alliance, and perhaps it was the only reason Viinturuth had shown any respect toward Carlisle. Yet, he seemed not very proud of his ruler, and had yet to give forth a name of exactly who it was the ruled over them. Coral opts strobed behind him as his mutt came to stand by his side. His lip curled wishing the furball would glide away and leave them be, he had not significant role here. If the azure czar ever got ahold of Carlisle himself, that flea bag would be the first thing to go. Locked away in some cellar and only allowed out when they needed a trained dog to do their darkened work as a spy.
[smear:039fbd]"Thieves? I despise burglars."[/smear:383c3d] he cooed almost silently and to himself. Looking back over his shoulder from the way he had come, knowing this conversation was slowly coming to an end. He needed to move off, so that another could give him what he wanted. Carlisle wasn't ready to leave what ever leader he had pledged to, it was plain to see, but it would be the last time the great stag would seek him out.
Looking back and locking eyes with the smooth as silk stag he spoke. [smear:039fbd]"How loyal are you Carlisle? Or are you easily bought as long as it benefits you?"[/smear:383c3d] He wanted to suddenly know him. Know what made him tick and maybe he would stick around for a bit longer. At least until the length of this certain question would be answered to its fullest extant.[smear:039fbd] [/smear:383c3d]

| [smear:f8f8f8]C A R L I S L E[/smear:8f8f8f] arlisle was truly not one to engage in talk that would tie two souls together, he never understood the emotions that others would push upon him such as the whore mare. She was nothing more than an acquaintance he wanted something she needed something, he provided protection and entertainment of sorts and she provided herself with no emotions, or so he was lead to believe. This stallion seemed to be pushing into similar territories that he did not wish to venture, continually asking questions to see if he could benefit from knowing him. While Carlisle knew there could be something he did not wish to be prodded. Asking questions amounted to nothing other than blank answers and that was exactly as he was giving. Remorse was something the brute did not understand even seeing others go through it he could not understand exactly what it was to go through it, to deal with whatever it was that went on inside. He’d seen people tear themselves apart dealing with remorse for the dead or other reasons nearly on a usual basis, it was tiring just to watch. There was but one instance he did go through it and it was excruciating, this particular instance was when his loving understanding mother passed, he got over her death and never felt that sort of pain for anything or anyone before or after. This territory the brute was venturing into was a dangerous one, he had always been respected before he left, respected and feared. While he knew he was not of the same status he knew it would eventually come to be if it was supposed to, for now he would have to act civil and push onwards past the stag if he wanted to avoid any more questions. Thieves? I despise burglars. Making a motion the stallion was indifferent to thieves or royalty they were all equal in his mind they both worked for the title the held, shifting his cranium in a side direction away from the brute he continued to listen. How loyal are you Carlisle? Or are you easily bought as long as it benefits you? Another question from the brute that was quite personal, he was extremely loyal to those whom he knew and fought with. He was loyal to the mutt because he had to put up with it and decided not to be miserable. Turning his cranium to the brute again, he raised this boa and arched it, craning his crown as he examined the specimen before him and deciphered what he would say. He contemplated if he should give an answer, he could see that he was getting fed up with the short answers he gave but he didn’t have to deal with it if he did not want to, he could heave and Carlisle would remain unaffected. I am loyal to those whom deserve my loyalty. And I only expect the same from those whom deserve mine. However I am content with being a loner. I am a part of the Syndicate. I am not aligned with royalty per say. He shifted his weight and his mug played a lopsided frown upon it and Carlisle, he decided he would participate in this pointless bantering So. Where do you call home? Where does your loyalty lie? He really did not care about who he was aligned with, however, his response may teach him more of the lands and my give a name that he could gain some employment from, begin to build his name here. 0593 Short but hey! |
