Our new site, Belligerence, is officially open! :D Click the image above to get there. The RLTW Cbox as well as the whole site will be left open for the next week or so to make sure that everyone has gotten their character info and unfinished IC threads moved over to Bell. If you guys have any questions as to what to do, there is an announcement thread specifically for old members on Belligerence which will tell you everything you need to know! Hey RLTW! There are a LOT of things going on around the site right now, so keep a eye out! Firstly we have our Activity Check, which is running until December 27th. If you're planning to be gone around Christmas time or anything, you should post to the check BEFORE you go so you don't forget and miss it! Next we have our OTM voting going on, so please take a few minutes to click through the polls and cast your votes on our Contests & Games board. Our Order and Chaos Entities have been chosen, and you can meet them with your characters in their lands of Aurora Caverns and Erebus Peak! The Aether Council auditions are now closed, and the staff are currently deliberating. We'll announce the winners at some point over the next week! The Aether will be inhabiting the mysterious land of Zulus, and soon the Council will be allowing new members into their ranks. Thank you all so much for your continued activity and interest in the site, and happy RPing! <3

THE SKIN HAS CHANGED again so please go to your profiles and select "PAINT IT BLACK AND TAKE IT BACK" which was inspired by the song Welcome To The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance. The characters featured here are very close to the hearts of many old RLTW members: Revelations' Devil's Assassin on the left, Flighty's Lashiel on the right, and in the middle is Flighty's Basilisk, a stallion whose blood runs through many RLTW characters and a stallion who played a large part in building RLTW's history.

THE SKIN HAS CHANGED! Please head over to your profiles and change the skin to "THE SUN WILL RISE WITH MY NAME ON YOUR LIPS" which was inspired by "The Driver" by Bastille. This month we're featuring Amity's mare Tanis, who is a free-spirited and very small mare who highly values her time alone in nature. Most everyone did really great on the scavenger hunt, and all of your prizes have been added to the Member Prize List! Keep an eye out for some exciting new things that are going to be happening around the site! The staff have planned for some BIG changes to take place over the next couple of months, so make sure you're reading all of the announcements and various PMs that we'll be sending out! Also, I've been noticing a lot of people who still don't have characters in the directory, so please make sure you're putting all of your characters in there. Happy almost Halloween, RLTWians! The site is getting decked-out for the holiday, featuring Kimimaro in his Halloween garb: a dark, flowing cape, carrying a lit jack-'o-lantern on his back. How it stays on there without rolling off? Who knows. Kimi magic. There are lots of awesome things going on over the next week, including OTM voting (which can be found HERE) as well as the annual Halloween Scavenger Hunt! There are some really awesome and valuable prizes being given out this year, so everyone should at least try to solve some of the cryptic, RLTW-themed riddles. Feel free to customize your RLTW Halloween experience how you see fit! Time to get spooky up in here. :P

The skin is finally done! It features Twiztid's awesome stallion Kimimaro, looking all badass up there on a waterfall cliff thing. Don't forget to post in the newly-created Activity Check, and as always, let me know if there's anything buggy with the skin so I can try to fix it. PLEASE REMEMBER TO AGE UP YOUR CHARACTERS THIS MONTH! Staff will be doing a check of everyone's Storybooks as soon as we've closed the Activity Check to make sure that everyone's stuff is up to date. Happy winter, RLTW! Stat aka Nova's character Noivern is featured this month, with her pretty purple hair and jewelry and double-tailed awesomeness. As some of you may have noticed, Altus's leadership has shifted from The Harbingers to Cadomir, played by Sid. There should be a meeting of some sort coming up soon for Altus, so be prepared to at least do a small name-only activity check with all of your Altus characters. Activity has been low for the past month or so, but the staff are planning some fun things, and if activity gets up within the next few weeks, we'll have another round of OTMs (so we can finally fill those in haaa)! I highly encourage everyone to try to jump into open threads, if only for your character to meet another one and have a brief conversation. Sometimes small meetings can turn into big plots! If you guys have any ideas regarding contests you might want to see on RLTW (or really any activity in general) please reply to THIS THREAD. As always, please let me know if anything is weird with the skin or if something isn't working properly and I'll do my best to fix it. Happy RPing! :DConditions
The temperatures drop quickly as autumn arrives in the lands of RLTW. Predators are already on the move, hunting in preparation for what is sure to be a harsh winter. The colors that adorn the trees of the lands are particularly beautiful this season, reds and oranges looking vibrant and welcoming. Heavy rains are to come mid-season, followed by a few stray snow showers closer to the end. Temperatures will be brisk but tolerable in most lands, but newborn foals could be susceptible to some ill effects due to the weather.
