I can tell you've never been true to me I can smell that you're acting so fearfully I can hear what you're hoping I want to hear I can feel the alarm bells ringing in me The black onyx damsel treaded carefully to the Dark Kingdom, taking care not to disturb the lands or creatures around her. The gargoyled mare was not here on behalf of the harbingers, nor was she here on the behalf of Novelty. The huntress came at her own will, she was not here to plead for the lights to be freed, for even she knew they were a failing kingdom ever since Archetype left the throne, but Megrim was not born during those times. She only knew of this because she heard tales from others when she was a young filly living under Litala, Ranjit and Adveindha. They were before Nirvana and before Ranjit's reign was the royal triad consisting of Lashiel, Sarwin and Thanatos. The damsel couldn't remember who had been before them and the history of the unaligned seemed very idle too. Before The harbingers was Aves and Vita Cinis, and before Aves it was Paralyzer at her side. Then she was certain it was a stallion named Collision or something like that. The unaligned kingdom never did anything special that she can recall, and they would be the next to fall. For the Light kingdom, it had been traded off quite a few times, from The Fallen and Evander to Arion and Bella Muerte, then Bella was left to be queen while Arion fled and then Paranoia \was given the Light Kingdom, simply handed over to her from Bella like nothing, and now there was no queen at all, the rest of the lights to be banished from existence as far as Megrim knew. Now her massive, black friesian frame towered over the top of the ravine, serving as a boarder into Obascus. The sun blocked by the clouds gave the rocky lands a misted appearance. The breeze was light as it blew softly sending a cold chill down her spine and making her dance in place momentarily as a shiver ran along her muscles. The weather wasn't always kind, but she knew days ahead could and would be so much worse. The wind carried her scent downwind into Obascus as she let out whinny to announce her presence to whomever who would take her to Nirvana or perhaps Nirvana herself. From this stand point she would be difficult to be attacked. The only thing that stood in her way was to wind, keeping scents of other equines out of her nostrils. A long sigh escaped her lips as she breathed in the smell of old blood and decaying matter. She almost missed seeing the corpses of other creatures lying all over the ground, but not enough to make her want to abandon The Outlands. Killing things without reason is what she used to do, simply for the fun of it, but since she joined Novelty she didn't have much time to go do what she pleased as she used to. Megrim didn't dare put a hoof over Nirvana's boarders either, she didn't feel like getting on any body's bad side anytime soon. There was now a question hovering over Megrim's head, what was next? What sort of plans did this orange bay vixen have in store?
