"Bloody mountains, bloody bodies, bloody leaves, bloody bairn, bloody bloody bloody." The raspy vocals of the female echoed out, some words jumbled or indiscernible due to the lack of lips upon the missus. Large carnivorous teeth glistened with drool as she moved through the mountain pass. She was still a bit fat from her birthing of the little creature that was her daughter, who was somewhere, where, she didn't care. At the moment she just wanted out of these blasted mountains. 'Though they do give perfect isolation. Which is what we like.' She said to herself, socketless skull raising to test the atmosphere around herself, it was midday, the small eye between her auds letting her know that much. She had never known what it was like to see, she had been born with no eye sockets so she had no idea just how different she was. The mare halted each and every leg, a total of six, and reached back with her exposed dentals, chewing on her belly, the exoskeleton like skin making an odd crunchy sound, making it a bit difficult to get the itch beneath. Her hindleg lashed out in irritation, the long scorpion-like tail curling and looking quite ominous in its high arch.
She turned her nape back around, the twelve inch curled spines along her back catching the light and glistening slightly, but they were exceptionally dull in texture and color, therefore giving little to no reflection of the light. Creature snorted, moving her limbs in an amazing display of carefully orchestrated choreography. One, four, five, two, three, six. Each foot moving in unison but at the same time at completely different times. The shimmering and hideous mare moved down the incline, using her long tail as a balance of sorts. She hummed as she kicked away snow, the chill seeping into her bones and it absolutely didn't bother her. The summer and heat was her bane, but this last summer hadn't been as bad, she had met someone, a unique stallion. She grinned, or at least in her mind she was grinning. Entropy. He was so sweet! She felt the giggle escape her and she bounded down the slope, she hadn't seen him in a while and had yet to see the child they had created. She remembered her first encounter, her face heated up slightly at the memory, her heart warming. He hadn't even known her name and already screamed at no one that she was his, and his alone. She grinned as best she could, bounding off the last bit of the slope and burying herself belly deep in snow. "Oh cometh thee on." She muttered in her completely unfeminine voice, whipping her skull around to get a sense of her surroundings. Snorting harshly she lifted her first set of legs and dug her way way out as she did this, she would move forward a bit, until finally she was not as deep.
She used the long and dangerous tail to skim across the top of the snow absentmindedly as her mind went completely on getting out of the deep drift of snow. Once she found a path that had been traveled in the snow, she quickly went back to thinking about Entropy. She had been away from him for a few months, he had not gotten to see the birth of their foal, sadly. She missed him dearly and she was starting to get anxious every time she thought of him, bringing about thoughts that she didn't want in her head. What happened to him? Was he okay? Did he miss her as well? As she thought of this, she suddenly realized that she should be worried about their daughter. She was a precious gem that any creature would love to snuff out. She became panicked. The monstrous mare picked her legs up and moved into a quick trot, letting her spooky and raspy vocals echo out, calling for her little gem to come back, to let her know that she was okay. " Saélihn! Come to mother, dear! " Her rough vocals called out, the mare moving frantically around the small clearing of snow.
