Hoax shifted her tiny legs carefully. Eyeing her mother, and her father that guarded from a distance. Pale crimson eyes stared quietly, calmly at her impressive mother. The young essa moved a few steps towards her mother. Each step was rather wobbly, although very calculated. As if each step was thought out by the chimera minx. Even in the moments after her birth, she was quiet. Hoax was observant. She brushed her muzzle against her mother's warm flesh that held in her organs. Not that Hoax had any real concept of that. The chimera minx slithered beneath her mother's towering frame. Perhaps it was only towering because of her own size.


She picked her daggers up more quickly this time around. Eyeing the towering brute off in the distance. White markings that resembled tears in flesh ran down his hide. Her crimson occulars studied him. He smelled familiar to her. The towering grullo turned his attention toward the young creature. Lowering his own muzzle so that she could press her own against his. His flesh was warm. His eyes were a mismatched colour of blue, and it almost seemed to have matched his unusual coat. The towering figure murmured softly to Hoax. Her name at first, and then a welcome from her father. Hoax was unsure of what that meant, but something inside her told her that this creature was safe. She was not very playful, although she was rather quiet. 


Hoax stared at her father without uttering any words. Instead she brushed her muzzle along his skin. Noticing a faint shiver from the towering creature. Caden's head swung around to gaze at his daughter. "Father." Hoax uttered carefully. Tasting the foreign word in her small mouth, consumed with jagged edges. The minx noticed her father take a sudden interest. The ears came forward atop his tall head. "Those teeth." Hoax gazed down, following the gaze of her father carefully. Curling her lip back to expose her teeth. The crimson orbs tried to focus, but failed miserably. "They're sharp..." Hoax mumbled in his direction. As if this would be something to plague her life in a negative way. Caden nodded faintly, though he moved closer to her, to allow his warmth to invade her skin.
